The QB2 Kit with Dual Flashing is a convenient solution for installing solar panels on various types of roofs. Each order includes a minimum of 50 mounts, packaged in a single case for easy shipping. While sealant is optional, rigorous leak-proof testing has been conducted, including ASTM E331 tests at 15.00 PSF and 120 minutes at 30.00 PSF, as well as ASTM E2140 tests with a 6" water column for 7 days, all showing no leakage. To ensure proper compression, a torque of at least 150 lbs/inch is required for the QB2. The kit features a 10MM x 46MM rail slot compatible with 5/16" or 3/8" bolts, suitable for use with various rail and rail-less systems such as Snap N Rack, Unirac, IronRidge, and Eco Fasten. Installation is straight forward: drill, seal if desired, and mount the kit. This product is protected by Patent #8448407.
