Wow! This is all Maurice. He played bass and acoustic guitars on this recording along with the piano, and if that wasn't enough he did lead and harmony vocals too. What a talent. My favourite BG. Many thanks for this weekend Chad.
Just got here. Adrenaline still pumping from the game. Sweet dear man Mo!! I still love him, this great track, and our weekends. He was, and is, the definition of cool. 💜💜 And GO CHIEFS 🏈🏈🏈
What a real loss in the passing of Maurice. Thanks for acknowledging the pass of Maurice part of the best group ever the Bee Gees. Great hat collection Chad!!!!
Hahaha! Love your hats, especially the deerstalker. Mo was a sweetheart, probably the nicest guy of all the brothers. Everyone said he was the backbone of the group. Their mom said he was everybody's friend. RIP wonderful Mo. The world was a better place with you in it. You should still be with us! 💔💔💔💔💔💔 Excuse me, gotta go milk the cows. I don't have any but there must be some out there somewhere!
@@janicetrimmell6897 - Glad you survived. I hope Mahones' ankle holds up. He has some time to rest it now. Would have preferred Josh Allen but they sucked in their last game.
LOL. Love your hat-stack at the end! Also like that whoever did the video included shots from the episode of The Dating Game with Mo & Robin. Thanks Chad!!!
Maurice and the softness of his voice, that's the voice that best suited the Country style, but don't get me wrong, I also like his brothers' songs in this style, but Mo had that special element in his voice that made this kind of songs more pleasant. Thank you for a great marathon!!!
Thanks for featuring Maurice in tribute....what a multitalented man...... a wonderful piece I never heard before.....loved it..... thanks Chad love your reactions.....
Mo, Mo, Mo... vocalist, multi instrumentalist, arranger, songwriter and a true hat connoisseur!💖 Another lovely stroll down Memory Lane this weekend - THANK You, Chad!💕
I love this song from my marvelous Maurice, aka, my favorite Gibb bro! It definitely has him written all over it! I think Mo sang lead or solo on most of the silly, fun, and crazy instrumentation (if you know what I mean) songs. I mean, that's just who he was - a silly, fun guy who was a music genius, always experimenting with new sounds. That was so sweet and thoughtful of you to give one last tribute to Mo before the month of his passing is over! I love that you showed us your hat collection in honor of him! He's definitely the hat king, as well as the king of a few other things. He wore so many different kinds of hats throughout his life and looked absolutely amazing in every single one of them! I think the hat that looked the best on him, though, is the black fedora. Thankfully, it's the one he wore the most (well not always the exact same one, but similar looking ones), which is probably because he could tell it suited him best. I mean, he was a very stylish person and it seemed, at least, to me, from the way he always dressed, like he knew something about fashion. Sure, he looked amazing without a hat on, but, I think, he looked even more so with one on! Thanks for an amazing marathon! I look forward to the next one and, also, to this coming up, weekend!
Your right Chad,. A fun song from a fun guy.😜. Hope him & Robin are happy with each other again. And Andy.❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. Miss you Moby,. Love you always. 💔
That's a lot of hats! Great song! Someone needs to remake it with a modern bent. I can hear it in my head. Love it! Thanks for exposing this song Chad.
Another great pick! Thanks for another wonderful Bee Gees marathon Chad. It's really appreciated. It is sad, that he's no longer with us. But thankfully, he left us a great legacy for us all to enjoy. And we do. 😀

Showcasing how many styles of music were on the run between bros. Gibb. Couldn't be stucked in one drawer which was a great problem for musicmagazines with their bunch of arrogant and ignorant so called experts. But they just were 'On Time', another great track with Mo in frontposition.
Hello, Francis... I have covered this tune as a double feature (original & remake) in case you haven't seen it. th-cam.com/video/-w-pU8sh2B0/w-d-xo.html
@@hereonthe3L Yes, you did and I saw and heard it, Chad. Wrote so, because these two words matched very well to my comment. Told you about Stephen, Barry's eldest son, who also sang this track on the 'Mythology-Tour' in 2013/2014. Not only sang it, played phantastic sologuitar as well. Butyaknow, I can wait, no hurry at all.
This song clearly shows the important role his singing played in the Bee Gees' signature harmony singing. He sings this song alone. Barry and Robin aren't there (3:23)
👋👋👋👋 Have never heard a complete song where Mo is singing by himself. This was fun listening too.

100% fully charged Maurice Gibb classic!

Didn't that deerstalker come from "North of the border?" 😁
@@janicetrimmell6897 - Yes, it flew down there using those two side flaps!
BTW, the Chiefs won. I imagine you noticed.
@@susieq9801 I did happen to notice. 🤩🤩 I thought I was going to need the paramedics to handle my blood pressure throughout the second half.

I also noticed the deerstalker, and precisely on the top so nobody miss it.

Mo’s death was the end of The Bee Gees. So sad. But they wouldn’t have been the same without brother Maurice. Thanks for this review, Chad!
What a fun song from a guy who loved to have fun and enjoy life. He had the perfect voice for country music. Thanks Chad.
I loved all of Mo's "swamp songs" from this era. This, "On Time" and "Lay It On Me" were classic Mo.

Love Mo. His voice was so different from his brothers. He could have been a Beatle. He sounds like John Lennon. He should have been given more leads.
Thank you Chad for the BeeGees marathon weekends. I look forward to them every week. ❤the BeeGees ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
