Yes, getting ridiculous! 4 light bars, 2 front winches, huge sound system(who uses one of them, let alone 2 in the bush??) and a freakin TV. Whoops, forgot about the light show inside the canopy! C'mon guys! I know you have sponsors but there is a line and you've crossed it. It's becoming corny.

I absolutely love Jase and Simon and ALL 4, however these builds are getting more and more into the upper 1% class. Not many can afford $250K plus for a 4WD tourer. Sure it is great, but of all your viewers, I bet only 1% could afford these builds, or they are young, overpaid FIFO DINKs. I do love the snorkels, and the bar and wrap are outstanding. Jase next year PLEASE do an ISUZU 155/75 NPS dual cab, as these are getting MASSIVELY popular over last 2-3 years.....

just curious in regard to all the added weight , appreciate you have tried to use aluminium for most but all the fitout components are heavy and the ZR2 only has 700KG payload so by the time you filled up the Bigger fuel tank , fresh water tanks and supplies to actually do long range mission you would not be able to Carry any Passengers < Is there a reason you didn't opt for the 2500 that would have been more practical with capacity ? DOES look Bloody Good however

Would make for a totally awsome raffle (or one like it) for kids charity. If I'm honest, looking at the damage in the end footage, that truck is too big and too heavy. The build is just pure excess and unnecessary. I would choose the D-Max any day between the two builds, and frankly, the vehicles peaked with Back In Black. It was exactly what it should be. Everything that mattered and was needed, was there, and I honestly think it outperformed the builds since. The 200 series and the Ford where fragile, or got stuck more often. That being said, it seem that the D-Max is now what Back In Black was back then. The D-Max is rock solid and the 79 was also perfect and reliable.

Surprised at the small tyres - not enough rampover on these. 58:38 side step bent up. No mention of diff locks.
