You're using 20w-50 in a car which is designed for 5w-30.The same engine installed in 2011 onward cars shifted from 5w-30 to even 0w-20.I suggest you should do some research and shift to any full synthetic 5w-30 only then your engine will perform according to oem specs.I've heard mechanics suggest to shift to 20w-50 after 1 lac km which is not correct!Another misconseption is that 5w-30 is not ideal for 40-50 degrees celcius which is also incorrect.I'm using 0w-20 in both of my pkdm Alto VXL and Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 in Multan(45-47degrees celcius avg). My Altis 1.6 is 120k kms driven and the engine is just like brand new.
