Thank you Kenny, Ive spent a lot of time looking for a bass loop Id like with no luck. You just taught me I can make my own. Thanks again. God bless you.
I always think at the beginning "oh I'm not interested in that" but half way through your videos I'm so keen to try this amazing new thing :) Thanks Kenny - you are always either saving my dumb arse, or inspiring it :D
Exactly! I was just going to write the same thought. Bass synth... pfff... who cares... Well it IS a Kenny video and the coffee pot hasn't finished yet, so... 2 minutes in I'm like OMG this is what I'm doing today.
Yeah I saw the title and thought "pft I've got some good plugins for this" but then watched anyway and was like "ohhhhhh I didn't even know Reaper could deal to samples in this way!!" 😂 Thanks Kenny G!
Subtle relaxed production variations in this one Kenny = Good stuff as always! As we know, inflation has got us all by the throat with pricing going up, up and away. I suspect any day now Justin and Schwa will be raising the private use license of REAPER from $60 to $61 😆. Seriously - REAPER is sooo much top shelf goodness and in my opinion currently can't be beat. Continues to get better and more productive thanks to all the fantastic REAPERS in this growing family.
Kenny, brilliant video. Just wondering is there a way to arpeggiate the bass using the steps from this video. I was also wondering do you have any videos on how to save and create a sample library. Always great work. Thanks
Omg that's what you look like! I always try to put a face to a voice in my head when hearing a DJ, radio personel, or youtuber that doesn't show their face. I was pretty close but the face does fit the voice perfectly! He looks pretty badass!
This was really helpful and I just created a bass track using this technique. I tried to do the same for some synth samples I was hoping to use but if I grab a note, import it and play, I have no sustain at all. Basically unusable it appears - - full disclaimer, I'm a sampler n00b and mostly record real instruments and vocals.
Ok, so when I right click in the media explorer, I don't have an option to load into the sample player. It's just not in the drop down menu at all. What do?
Hi Kenny - I'm really digging into Reaper now, and I always enjoy your videos immensely when I need a tip on how to do things. But that's not all, I really like your introjingles as well. They're real earworms! You should do a video on them, anything that'll let us hear them together - you could always throw in some instructional content, to justify the effort, but I'd really like to hear them together and perhaps see how you made them? BTW: My fav is the one that has a 1/8 bassline moving down and a kind of "shivering squeel" on the fourth beat of the third measure - I'd really like that to be an entire tune - is it? (I'll go find a link now, so u know which one I mean)
Kenny, you are making the best audio/music production content on TH-cam. And best of all... you're doing it... in Reaper! *slap*
…and for free. His videos are the best.
Thank you Kenny, Ive spent a lot of time looking for a bass loop Id like with no luck. You just taught me I can make my own. Thanks again. God bless you.
Yep. Really handy skills to have
I’ve never thought of blending a sample and the Reaper default synth together to make my own sound. This was a really great tutorial.
Thanks
I think i prefer this then to adding a distortion on the hi bass like i had been doing

I'm at the point where I see a new Kenny vid, I watch. Literally none of these vids are anything but valuable
Glad to hear!

Thanks Kenny G!
I agree. All of Kenny’s videos are interesting and helpful, even when I initially don’t think they will be. Thanks!

I like that tune, a little earwoorm. And also the trick.
Thanks a lot. You're doing some great work with these videos. Do you ever wonder about how many tracks you have had a hand in inadvertently making? :)
Never thought about it til now. Hope they're good ones!! :)
He’s helped me immensely!

Another great tutorial. Thanks Kenny!
New intro...his powers grow!
Yet another great video Kenny.
Increible Video... Muchas felicidades Amigo..
Hm maybe new pitch detection in media explorer needs to be implemented in sampler too ? 🤷♂️
It's already in Pre release . ❤
Beautiful content! Thank you for sharing this!🎵
Very useful, and great that you use only Reaper included stuff, no money has to be spent. Thanks!
sooo helpful and easy to understand....thanks Kenny! 🙂
Thank You
I learned several things and I will definitely use them! Thank you!
Channel should be called: Joy with Kenny.
Awesome. Much easier than starting from scratch with Vital.
Thnx Kenny 🎼👍🏽
Simple and easy!
Love the "less effect on your face"

Both. Search the channel.

This is what I'm looking for, thank you so much 🤟
Thank you 🎹🎼🎧🥇
That was great, as always. One question: is there a way to make the downloaded note sustain? Your tutorials are invaluable and much appreciated!
Brilliant! Thank you!
Yo love the new camera setup
The lighting was terrible but I'm thinking of keeping it there for streaming and other videos.
genius of reaper!
How can I use Keys and Pads together in one track with one synth vst?
Thank you
👓 lirais-tu dans nos pensées ? Toujours une astuce qui tombe au bon moment ! 👓

My media explorer doesn't look like yours and I can't figure out how to cut my loop :(
I´d like to know if it is possible to save as an effect in reaper to play my bass as synth at live

Here it is: th-cam.com/video/5VClIx75l5s/w-d-xo.html
I like it!
I thought selecting a region from the sample in the media explorer will import only that part in the sampler...
Nice tutorial Kenny, as always. :)
