    I made the almond jelly today for the first time after over 20 years, for my party. It was a hit. Thanks for your easily followed recipe and I will look at your other recipes, too.

    Thank you so much for posting this. I had to find a recipe that would work and it had to be through TH-cam because I had to see it being made first. The online recipes were dubious because the amount of gelatin was way off; this seems perfect. I also love the fact that you put visuals because I'm watching this with the sound off as my husband watches a Korean Zombie movie; I would imagine this is also hearing-impaired friendly as well. Really love your content!

    I will use the Knox gelatin. I used to buy the box of almond jello powder but there was a smell that I hate. So I will try yours. I don’t know we have to use a whole bottle of almond extract. Thank you.

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A whole bottle is definitely too much. A tsp or tbsp should be good enough.

    • @BaoBeiKH
      @BaoBeiKH  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please do not only use a tsp or tbl, it is insignificant for this amount of jello. Follow instructions

    I note that the original Almond jelly recipe uses Agar Agar. Is that something I can substitute your recipe with using half the amount of Agar Agar instead of Gelatin?

  • @ItsBinhRepaired
    @ItsBinhRepaired 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    1oz of almond extract?! That's a lot! Lol try with a tsp or at most 1tbsp. It should still be good. 1oz is too much. Haha

    • @BaoBeiKH
      @BaoBeiKH  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is not true at all, for making two huge portions of almond jelly this is how you get a deep almond flavor

    • @BaoBeiKH
      @BaoBeiKH  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But 1oz is around 2tbl, so if you half this recipe then yes that’s fine. But with this quantity. Definitely desirable to use 1oz !

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BaoBeiKH I got a 2oz bottle of almond essence and used maybe 1/10th of the bottle if not less. It was good.

    • @ItsBinhRepaired

      @@BaoBeiKH I was worried it would be too soft because the gelatin box said 4 packets for 2 cups of water, and the recipe was 3 cups of water and 2 cups of milk, but it turned out pretty dense. I'll try 3 packs of gelatine next time. I'm used to it being more mushy. I have stores nearby that sell the stuff in a bag just add water/milk. This is good though. Thanks!
