I know alot people don't like vids like these but personally I love them. Andrew keep making videos like these there very informative and helpful man thank you. I feel like rebuilds and flipping cars like you do should be a segment on the channel permanently.🙏
Great video brothers! Andrew great job with dropping the engine! It's nice to have someone there to help you with what needs to happen on a job like a K member. it's a great way to lean, I learned that way myself. It will give you a lot confidence as it did myself and for everyone on you channel that wants to learn. Its just nuts and bolts and an order on how things are removed and reassembled, torqued with a lot basic tools. A hoist helps out big time, obviously. Very cool you showed yourself uninstalling your K member/ engine! Fantastic channel, Shelby is beautiful!
Even though you had Nicks guidance that’s still very impressive that you dropped the engine in 3 hours!! Great job Andrew and yes excited for this build! Are you gonna rebuild this engine? Or get a new one?
Mustang Lifestyle My cars identical to the one you have, black on black. I melted a piston in cylinder 7 and scored my cylinder and I’m currently getting a sleeve installed because it’s just going to be N/A. The problem occurred from bad gas and a early bama tune that’s stuck on the ecm because it didn’t come with a tuner. The builder asked if I wanted to go with 10:1 or 11:1 pistons for reliability Incase of pre-detonation again. What do you think I should run. They’re Manley brand btw.
@@aaronq.6033 how much did all that cost you?? I have a 17 5.0 blown and I’m planning on replacing the engine but am wondering how much the new engine and installation would cost? W no warranty of course. It’d be with a local shop... thanks
@@timetofl0at340 I’d have to check it all out on my paper work but I did Manley Platinum pistons with all new bearings and seals with a sleeve to fix the cylinder and they’re all bored out .005 over and a MMR total seal package with labor for around 3200. And they did a little head work with leak down testing and labor included for that 3100 price
Did u guys see Andrew bought a SVT Lightning on his Instagram story? He'll drop the TH-cam vid about it soon!
@Dan The Man 🤫🤫
Andrew good effort. can't wait to see more.

Exactly what blew up cause the oil had about as much metal flake as a candy paint job on an impala ss
Nice job!!👍
Black motor oil? That engine was neglected no doubt about it. NA engines don't explode for no reason.

Good job Andrew proud of you

Are you saying you can’t beat on coyotes?
21 Sandwich I can only speak on the one I had man I had the brembo package loved it while it lasted but I should have built a new block
The gen 2 coyote is A LOT stronger, yours was a gen 1
If it’s stock how did a hole ended up in the motor
Trying to buy same coilovers on the cobra do you have bc code
Please keep the car
Great video!
Well done. Big Job
Please respond I have question because I also have a s197 blown 5.0 that I’m rebuilding 🤷🏽♂️

Probably blew from low on oil. Looks poorly maintained...sad
Isn’t an coyote motor expensive and hard to find
No they are very easy to find. Theres a ton of Mustangs and the coyote also came in the f150.
They cost around 3-5k used 9k brand new
Its crazy how you dont work on your own vehicles lol.
He does dont be a hater.
Nice
A stock Coyote has I-beam rods.
Who else was cringing over the caliper hanging on the brake line
I rather have the old mustang
Engine.
🤟🤟
This dudes voice gets to me but good content the other guy should be the one talking
Although it was a90% good video, you time-lapsed the most important part...which bolts to remove to drop the subframe, etc out. SMH
Nice job!!👍
