What kind of Muppet takes a support ship to the front line and then gets surprised as he is overwhelmed. And then retrying the battle, he uses the support ship to try and hold a flank by himself. I have heard that he has skill issues but damn. I think its the underlying problems....
Built-in Insulated Engine Assembly is so OP, it's surely going to be nerfed in future versions. My Onslaught has the same sensor profile as my Omen. Imagine if the AI figured this out and started hiding capital fleets in nebulae and asteroid fields and you wouldn't see it until they were already on top of you!
Yea pirate ambushes from nebula hiding spots would be amazing, like you don't want to go near some core world systems near asteroid fields, and let certain planets become a meme
So I have not played lot of starsector and today I found a Locomotive. Salvaged it in an outer system and ran out of fuel three times on my way back to my colony but I made it. What do I do with it now though?
After buying starsector bc of rarr im surprised at his lack of missile usage, i dont think there is a downside to firing all ur missiles during combat, so personally i fire away! Why else would the irradiator have so many
these vods are fun to watch for the story, but as somebody with only brief brushes of playing Startsector it's very hard to follow what's happening on the actual game level when you click through encounter, salvage, recovery... etc dialogs at light speed.
