I did the TurboTax one for about 2.5 weeks and have not gotten paid for my work. It’s been a month and they keep giving me the run around. Just be cautious with this company. I see that a lot of people have good experiences, unfortunately, I wasn’t one of them.
@@bernicet6855 Omni Interactions was okay when I initially worked with them back in 2021 for the Tax season. I worked on the Turbo Tax campaign. I had no issues with them and how they treat independent contractors that work with them. Fast- Forward to working their Turbo Tax (2022) season- They are the most unethical place I've ever worked with. The will CHEAT/ROB you of income you've rightfully earned. They will tell you that you'll receive different incentives for working specific amounts of hours, especially during their "Peak Week"- which is the final week of the tax season. It was communicated multiple times throughout their platform and by blasting e-mails how they would pay up to $35/hr for working 10 hours on 4/18/2022- the tax day deadline. I worked over this amount and still wasn't compensated at $35/hr. I was also supposed to receive extra incentive pay for each promoter survey- (where a customer was pleased with the support they received from me). They actually pick and chose how to compensate me as they desired. They did not pay me $35/hr at all and they also didn't compensate me for my promoter surveys. The SME's are terrible as well- and they will end your contacts while in the middle of talking with customers. This then cuts into your "Available" status time which is the only time your actually paid for. STAY AWAY FROM OMNI- UNLESS YOUR VERY DESPERATE!
I hate TurboTax. I am with them now with Arise and I hate them. They said it would be about products but most people ask about taxes and they don't train us for taxes and they won't let us transfer calls this year. We need to get permission to transfer. And they keep having us update programs and it never ends.
I just got a email from Omni solutions they sent me my class schedule and also I already registered for my classes for next Thursday I pick 5pm to 11pm since I work during the day 😁
What's the difference between production and nesting? I thought maybe nesting was somebody listening to your calls as a back up or to give you tips after each call, but it sounds like you are completely on your own after the training classes?
Hi Becky, I have tried multiple times to do Omni Interactions but i can not pass the typing test, I only get to the second row of the paragraph and it does not let me pass through. Omni makes me sad. I want to work for them but i am having issues with that part. What to do?

According to google that’s how remote jobs can track how you work and what was sent between emails and etc. I wasn’t sure if that’s what anybody else did when they applied for Omni but I wanted to make sure before I submit. 🤔🤔

I have once worked for Apple Care UK Support and would like to check some details... 1How long does the training last? 2Do they give you a contract for how long? (chances of not being fired in casa not doing wrong stuff) 3Does it need to be 40h or could start with 10h per week (just to avoid quitting another job until being sure) Thank you so much and congrats.
Training times varies with the different clients. You set your own hours. Some clients want 18-25 hours per week. You can do more. Contract times vary depending on the client too.

Omni does not use cameras!

Nesting means you might have 3-5 calls per hour. Production is more calls per hour.

Some WFH companies will ask for that and you just use the snip tool if you have Windows.
Did Omni provide you with work equipments and laptop etc?
what happens when you cant make certain training hours? would you know the hours before signing up for a gig?
Before you accept the contract, there is a schedule to download and agree to beforehand.

Yeah I used my own equipment. I kept it all separate. You also need a second monitor.
