Andrea....he is telling the truth. Its not about living in the past its about what is expected from a university band and this is high school. Look at the percussion section from 1997 when they play make it rain and how they snake and the seriousness with it.
Suppose to be slow? Look up Magic City Classic AAMU marching in 1991. Thats how its suppose to be played. When they slowed it down, they couldn't keep the same tempo so I appreciate them speeding it back up.
