Couldnt agree more.. 1 thing I would add is to ask them on a scale.of 1 to 10 how much do they attribute the success of the reception to the DJ. I ask this ONLY to determine what kind of priority they put on the service in general

I’ve only done a couple weddings but I had this on my questionnaire. I listed several of the typical and kitschy songs. I’d have them circle yes/maybe/no and including songs 100% not to play.

They don't pay for the awards because you can get the awards without paying for advertising. But the requirements to get the awards are super low so they are often looked at as not that big of a deal.

I do about 90 to 100 weddings and some once a month residencies at clubs at the jersey shore so maybe 130 ish? And totally agree haha
