- The place exuded an organic air. Empty space was suffused with something reminiscent of moonlight and mundane sounds were somehow... clearer. The passage of time seemed distorted, as did some memories.
Music by me.

Did Fox Mulder ever play classic Resident Evil during his nights off?
I think he did and Dana was nagging to him about it, but secretly she was addicted to Resident evil also
I actually imagine Fox was a Nintendo kid at heart. He strikes me as an old school gamer and PS1 was too bleeding edge for the time.
I could see him doing that.
I think he'd be more of a Silent Hill sort of guy. Skully probably more sci fi horror like DIno Crisis 😜
Nah, he had video tapes of...stuff...to watch.
Dude, finally. The X Files and resident evil share a lot of thematic values in terms of suspense and music design. Love it!
I actually think the RE music composers were influenced by the show. Or, in other words: I do believe.
@@SurvivalSpheres We are like minded you and I. I always *believed* the x files was the main inspiration. It was too popular not to have an influence.
@@SurvivalSpheressome bizarre coincidence I wanted to share is yesterday I was rewatching season 2 of the show.
@@LSK2K That is indeed interesting. It seems strange to say, but I'm only moderately surprised. It's all connected, you know?
@@SurvivalSpheres it indeed is.
No bed, so it's lore accurate.
I can just imagine him typing away late into the night. Trying to make everything fit together into something meaningful.
Ah yes, the bedroom was literally full of junk, right? Your comment made me remember.
@@SurvivalSpheres I think so. But for sure there was no bed
This upload is such a pleasant surprise. No matter how creepy the episodes were, the wholesome relationship of Mulder and Scully gave the audience the same sense of relief that the RE save rooms gave to the players back in the day
Oh that’s deep, and you are on to something. It’s true, they both were each others safe haven in the dark.
Oh, they're out there. I just know it
SWEET. The X-Files was my everything as a kid.
"Scully have you heard of the Arklay Mountains Disappearances?"
Come on Mulder... are these comic book legends supposed to impress me?
Hearing this got me thinking how awesome it would be if they made a x-files game in the style of resident evil.
There apparently was one in PS2 era.
this has the x-files vibe in it.
Hence the title 🙄
yo, an old style survival horror based on/inspired by X Files would be incredible. awesome concept and great track!
Alan wake 2 is pretty close
There’s a PS2 x-files game with fixed camera angles akin to classic RE. It’s called Resist or Serve.
Ooh I really like this. It fits my mind’s niche need for a moody, but serene 90s sci-fi mystery ambient tune. Feels like it could be part of a background track in an episode of the show or similar 90s series where the main character is investigating clues that break the case open while working alone at night.
And it indeed HAS to be night. Unwritten rule.
worlds collide in the most beautiful way possible
"The place exuded an organic air. Empty space was suffused with something reminiscent of moonlight and mundane sounds were somehow... clearer. The passage of time seemed distorted, as did some memories. "
A living time capsule comes to mind 🙂
Cosy and retro scene and very beautiful theme bud 😊
A living time capsule… you always come up with such intriguing concepts!
@@SurvivalSpheres Thank you, I've had much wonderful influences to spark it 🙂
This is so beautiful and haunting at the same time. Wonderful job as always!
Omfg... x-files and resident evil... ^^ thx for this masterpiece !
I love your channel. As a fan of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, it's natural that I stumbled upon it looking for those great save themes and soundtracks, but your surreal pieces are something more. They accompany me every day when I commute to work in the crowded subway or when I go shopping, allowing me to take a break from the noises of daily life.
There‘s something special about listening to dark/surreal/tranquil music when walking around in crowded, contradicting environments. Subway station, mall, grocery’s, park at bright sunshine…. Detaches your perception away from the daily madness, granting a peek behind the veil. Glad you’ve found your way here 🙌🏻
this gives me goosebumps
Love that calming investigative quality, just like the X-Files show had. Your music continues to amaze us!
I haven’t watched the X~Files in a long time, now I wanna look it up honestly.
I have been following your journey here since day one 🧳
It makes my heart beat faster 💓 to read 👀 how much your music enriches the lives of so many people 🙏🏻
Your talent is absolutely outstanding 👏🏻 Thank you for sharing it with this world 🌎
Excellent work that will hopefully one day be played on a kind of "Voyager Golden Record" 📀 outside of time ⏳ and space 🌌 - in other worlds still unknown to us or even in the sacred eternity ♾️ where I may accompany your journey as a kind of spirit or another entity 🪽
No more words are necessary, my dearest ❤️
Thank you for being my eternal melody❤️
The best days are the ones that start with Survival Spheres' music. Keep doing you.
I see your name and smile, can’t help it! Hope you’re doing well, friend🙏🏻
Omg this is all I’ve ever wanted from you 😫😫😫 THANK U SM
The pleasure was on my side!
The impact your music has on my life is absurd.
Thank you for everything
Outstanding!
Oh this is actually crazy, I’m a HUGE X-Files fan and I’d been working on writing a cross over between that and Resident Evil!
Omg, the X-Files!! Gosh this is perfect ❤❤
If there was ever a form of Resident evil film or TV series that would be successful, it would be modeled after the first three seasons of X-Files.
Agreed. Classic RE was also rooted in mystery,
an aspect that was eventually dropped. Sadly.
OOf just getting all the tingles from this. Lovely stuff!
Oh yes, that is so good! I'm a huge X-Files fan and love the work of Mark Snow on the music. Perfect track!
Ha, I‘m not surprised! Snow‘s work must have inspired people’s imagination of what 90‘s dark mystery sounds like🙏🏻
Wow didn't expect this, a safe room for Mulder and Scully! Beautifully done indeed!
Deep atmosphera...
Yes!!!! I love that you chose X-Files❤️❤️❤️
Gonna need a whole pack of Morleys for this one.
That should be about half the daily ration!
Oooo very nice my friend love the vibes on this one
Nice work
The TRUTH is out there - but in here is SAFETY...
Good one ☝🏻
Love it. Please do another with rain ambience!
I’ve actually thought about doing another X-Files song, because I had a second melody in mind. Then I thought it would be too much and I should wait a little longer in between. Let’s see 👋🏻
@@SurvivalSpheres Sounds great!
X-Files is one of my favourite shows of all times, finished watching it for the first time last year, such a ride (not a fan of the last 3 seasons tho). You really nailed the atmosphere with this one, as always :)
Interesting. I myself watched it (for the first time) only few years ago, too. Talking about being late to the party… but I agree, it took a strange turn later on. I wonder if we’ll maybe see another season one day.
@@SurvivalSpheres For real! I was born when Season 5 was airing so no wonder i got waaay later to the party 🤣 but yeah, if there's ever another season, i just hope they ignore anything past season 8 and give it a good ending.
Please, keep up with this great work. I love the tracks.
OMG This is SUPER COOL! Thank you!
Always good to see fellow agents here.
this is so cool. holy shit
So good music and artwork! 🖤
Beautiful
I love this, thank you so much.
❤
Hey, I was wondering if I would be able to use some of your music in my videos? I absolutely love the vibe of your music! Would be perfect for my new documentary series.
I love your work and you‘re good with stating sources, so yeah, happy to be a small part of it! To better keep track of things may I ask you to send me a quick email?
@@SurvivalSpheres Sure thing!
@@SurvivalSpheres And thank you :)
You should do more X Files inspired music!
Thanks, I will at least do one more.
"I do believe that the truth is out there. But I don't think 'they' hide it from us. It's all around us, ready to be received....but we turn a blind eye to it; we hide it from ourselves. 'They' just watch us do it."
Nice touch with the Scully FHM! Great upload
Thought my eyes deceived me. I was like THE X-FILES ?
Sometimes it’s risky to blindly trust our own eyes. Wait,… now I’m confused.
would love to hear some tracks inspired by various John Carpenter films (especially assault on precinct 13)
Pretty sure Survival Spheres made music like this back in the day. Look up "The Fog - Save Room Version"
@@ronnie1999 I can't believe you remember this fossil of a song of mine!
Nicely done. Just needs a lamp to illuminate the X to get the attention of Mr. X
Dude, I'm really glad you did this! Much like classic Resident Evil, The X-Files likewise needs to be kept alive. It seems to have faded out since the 90's and doesn't get near the attention and credit it deserves. I didn't realize you're a fan, but it certainly doesn't surprise me either. Speaking of X-Files and classic RE, have you played the Daymare games (I don't remember if I've asked you before)? They have their issues but contain a pleasant nostalgic aspect of great 80's and 90's sci-fi horror atmosphere, especially from RE, X-Files, Aliens, The Thing, and so on. I know you'd be perfect at a good Daymare 1998 inspired save room theme (the one in the game is pretty good I think), but Daymare 1994 doesn't have a save theme of its own. What do you think?
Piggy don't reach here, it's the 3rd floor.

I've had a rather hilarious first introduction to the series via the PS2 title, which is a rather unsubtle survival horror clone.
Hot take : REs overarching plot (least OG wise) and their 2 main characters (chris and jill) were heavily inspired by the X files
The syndicate is basically umbrella and its rival organization
The smokin man is ozwell E spencer,i mean cmon
Chris is mulder, the character whos obssessed with finding out the truth behind the conspiracy
Jill is scully,a smart yet capable well balanced female character with a sense of humor and short hairstyle
Hell the aliens created with the black virus,is basically the G monsters from 2 cause both are viruses tht create a new life form within u tht bursts outta ur body
And to prove my point : some sound effects of doors closin (esp metallic ones) in earlier seasons is the exact same as ones from OG games,i reccomend checkin out scorepns vid on the matter to see for urself
Jéssica Jones filés
