@@moomimi i know right, for him to appoint the SS as general, he sure does love giving them a whole bunch of jobs to do while he sits on his ass back at sanctuary. Take a look at elder maxson, he is the leader of the BoS. Yes he does do some jobs, but most of the time he is usually in his office. He sends his knights to do most of the jobs for him. Thats how its supposed to be for the minutemen, preston should do something about the settlements not just report them to the SS as if he were in charge. If 10 settlements need help, each minutemen takes care of two. Its pointless to have a group of people dedicated to helping others, and you (the general) goes around doing all of the work.
@@abelcollado1711 Well , not to say I don't like the idea , but I wish you could send armies to certain regions of the map to make the job easier , one thing I noted is that somehow NPCs are effective in FO4 , so an army could for example liberate Saugus Iron Works from the forged ( I tried that and the Minutemen did kill em all not only but thrice)

The Minutemen ending: A bunch of farmers get fed up with the creepy science kidnappers, and decided to infiltrate their underground clubhouse armed with future muskets , and the help of their neighborhood mechanic Sturges .

He escaped, likely with help from the RR, who wiped his memory, and gave him this new life, so again, I say they are the ones to blame for him being who he is, and where he is. Nuka World DLC allows you to become the boss of a raider-controlled theme park, and people are disappointed there is no ending to the main game that involves said raiders.
But that would have taken effort.

He said that he ain't friends with you. But he will still work with you. This happens so that you can still go on with the Minutemen quest line
Because the Minutemen is the game's back-up plan so the player can still win even if they piss off all the other factions, because god forbid that a player suffer the consequences of their actions.
Obsidian wouldn't make the same mistake.....

There is a very simple thing to understand that all who has ever played at least fallout 1, NV and 4 will understand: Bethesda... Bethesda SUCKS at making fallout games.
Look at 3, broken as fuck gunplay, which was fixed by OBSIDIAN in new vegas.

NV? heck, each DLC gave us a bit of the past of the Courier... and characters related to him.
The skill system? It was the BEST thing i have ever seen in my life! Fallout 1's system was the best and i thank god that NV kept it! but what about 4? why did bethesda have to fuck up so much? making
"Fallout: a post nuclear apocalyptic Role playing game" into "Fallout: a single player open world COD where you can say yes, no, question, sarcastic"
This was ment to be an RPG, i know that time has changed but they didnt have to make an RPG become a FPS. If they were capable of doing like Obsidian, combining First person and third person shooter dynamic with an RPG base, I would have loved 4. I admit that the original turn based combat system was kinda boring, but they didnt have to completely remove the RPG factor to make gameplay more fun and fast for the new generations of players.
And the reputation system... OH GOD! WHY! in NV we could know what was my rep with a faction and it could change for various reasons! You could even disguise as them!
Now you just need to read [PRESTON HATED THAT] and done...
Pls bethesda, let Obsidian take over fallout's universe before you fuck it up more than it already was fucked up, simply because... you dont know how to make a good game, not anymore ;D

Heh, I do and don't, but either way, by the time I am done, I usually have a lot of those vials. If you are careful, you could still make that last a very, very long time. Especially if you do not mind getting old for a while before getting young again. ;)
Kessler Macgrath The whole Nuka world DLC is leading up to that moment when you start on the raiders, just you and whatever silly powerful legendary weapon you can cook up. I used the explosive combat shotgun or Doom boomstick of death.

if you think about it if a raider gang owned all the common wealth wouldnt all the settlements technically be safer than if they were ran by minute men
I would say, think of the Legion and their territory. No raiders and any caravans that passed through were completely safe. While the Legion were considered evil, Cass points the two points I said before.
You pretty much give the Commonwealth to a bunch of junkies that don't produce anything. They don't farm, they don't do anything for themselves. They just enslave others and make them do everything. So no, trust me, the raiders are not an equal nor better Choice than the Minute Men.
That's it. Raider lifestyle is absolutely unsustainable. Once all the people working for them (farming, repairing etc) die out, raiders are screwed, they are parasites.
Yep, and you can't trust them to hold up to their end of the deal to keep the settlers safe. As cruel as Caesar's Legion was they kept order and would honor agreements so you can farm in (relative) peace.
but since your the overboss if you did the dlc you could force them to keep settlers safe because if they die they lose a food source and a supplier

I personally think that the Institute was the better ending, they may be pretty evil at times but the work they are doing in the labs to help the Commonwealth is brilliant. also I like to think that when I took over as the leader I can control what does and doesn't happen to people out in the Commonwealth

I'm not dobuting Institute really want to build bright future and my mainhero is science-based, so i decided to support Shaun first time. but i regreted this since i found out despite you are Director you can't controll anything in the Institute and, also, scientist don't respect you. Bethesda didn't added any options to participate in any research there and all you can is do dirty work,and after that Institute scientist refuse to reward their radiant quests, sometimes even despite successful speachcheck(i'm sure last one is a bug, but still) and half of that nerds even talk with you like you are trash. If there would be more respect to a protagonist and more features with science researchs i would definitely favor Institute. i really love science stuff

For roleplay experience you don't side with the minutemen when you're the overboss
Unfortunatly I can't manage to find a good way to side with the brotherhood OR the railroad while being overboss too neither
Brotherhood: you're a loyal soldier you can't have the wish to be an outlaw (at least the Bos code)
Railroad: by killing humans (and potentially synths) you spit of the value of life they care so much about
I love nuka world especially as a raider but it's a roleplay breaker for me
Or I just don't finish the main quest and just assume that I want to conquer the commonwealth and nothing else
Bethesda has never cared about the consequences of the player's action nor their freedom to choose from day 1 of Fallout 4. It shouldn't be that surprising that they played it safe.
I do it like this... I play the good guy until I need to kill shaun which I do. I do Far Harbour and imagine it takes a while after sorting that out, Then go for a haircut grey my hair. make myself look a bit older a bit scarred then start nuka world as an old grissled version of my guy and take them out from the inside after legally getting to eliminate one of them. ROLEPLAY BABY!!!!
As soon as I learned you could make a Geralt of Rivia character thats who my Mr Lucas Grows up into.
I'd recommend not even choosing BOS while becoming a raider for one reason only: the BOS will attack your raider outposts.

I think you're confusing Schizophrenia and Multiple Personality Disorder. Schizophrenics have hallucinations and hear voices, whereas people with Multiple Personality Disorder are well... just like Preston in this video. Great video, Fluffy. I always enjoy this type of content, but I thought I'd bring the whole Schizophrenia and MPD thing up because the two disorders are often confused. Keep up the great content!
Just to play devil's advocate (and make a sarcastic jokes), who is to say that Preston ISN'T hearing voices (the director?) and seeing things? He is definitely seeing red on occasion here, and how does he know these things need to be marked on your map, it was not as if there was a radio at first and he talks about how he can't leave the settlement then, does he have the sight too? Is he forcing chems on the old woman after condemning you for it? How does that work exactly? Are the folks across the map sending out messengers in all directions hoping to find the last of the MM who may, or may not exist? Do the feral ghouls send out advanced warning before they attack? Inquiring minds want to know! XD
there REALLY should have been an option to keep your raids of the settlements secret (maybe a speech check to convince the gangs its to gather intel and strength first)
OR to make it up to preston by convincing him with difficult speech checks plus killing all the raiders,
so you can stop #SchizophrenicGarvey
