This is just what I needed! I hate relying on the turnip business because I'm always unlucky and end up losing bells :/ Thank you so much for this video ❤
Thank you for the kind comment! I'm so glad this helped. Another way is to wait until you have the donation box as your hot item, craft one, and dump a whole lot of bells into it. Timmy and Tommy will give you a fortune if it's a hot item and you sell it with bells inside.
Another great trick is when the giftbox (or whatever it`s called) is hot item, you fill it with 100K Bells before you sell it. Timmy and Tommy will buy it for +200K. Rinse and repeat. A bit time consuming but 100% legit.
I’ve been playing since launch and maybe spent way too much time grinding for miles. I also save up because I can’t be bothered to redeem them for tickets as it takes too long (I use treasure islands for those). I do have a couple thousand hours in the game though…
Yes, I should have explained the food part better! What I meant was if you have a food as a hot item, and the recipe contains fruit, it _should_ always be something with your native fruit (like my native fruit is oranges, so any food hot item that has fruit in it will have oranges instead of pears or apples). As for you getting recipes you haven't crafted before - do you have other players on your island? I could be totally wrong in that it only goes by the Resident Rep in terms of what they know for recipes, as I haven't done extensive playtesting on it and I also know all the recipes in the game.
@@DiannaPlaysGames I have also gotten to notice how to do better catches without having to wonder, bubble patterns. Straight, continuous bubbles are sea weeds, while less continuous bubbles are accorn barnackes and sea grapes, both dont move. Continuous disperse bubbles with fast moves are either lobsters, crabs and giant clams. Some ither patterns like few disperse bubbles with a slow rate are things like starsfishes or some other low value sea creature bsbjsbsbs, that is what makes it fun to play

Yes! I mentioned this in comments but completely forgot about it for the actual video. The donation box stuffed with Bells is a top tier hot item.
Yes bc I’m tired of stealing my villagers outside furniture for hot items lol
That is dumb that you can’t put your swim suit as a wand outfit
It's literally the worst
Fr
The vegetable basket as a hot item is op
Yes! So is the donation box! Fill it with bells before selling it and you get a ton of money!
Love this!!! I also save all the wasps I catch for Flick. I get a lot of profit that way!
I do the same thing! I always put my wasps in storage and save them for whenever Flick makes his next appearance.
diving is my fav way to make easy bells!! if ur lucky and score a few creatures who are worth a lot you can make almost 100k per full inventory!
You're right! I just didn't want to dive for too long to get the B-roll footage lol, but yes you can definitely make bank if you're lucky!
This video needs more likes

How did you get so many nook miles?!

Also I’ve had things show up that I didn’t have the recipe for (I’m the main player) and foods without fruit like pancakes.

@@DiannaPlaysGames my mum is on the island and sometimes the hot item is something she has but I don’t
@bec3272 Ah that makes sense then! So it sounds like the hot item can be anything any player on the island knows how to craft or cook. I was wrong lol
I get so so many bells diving!!
And it’s fun because it’s like fishing where you’re not always sure what you’re going to get!
I love diving
Me too! It’s time consuming but I find it to be very relaxing.
