I can relate. One time I was so fed up with my class that I yelled "Can you all just be quiet for one damn second?!". Everyone stared at me, I mean *everyone*. This was back in 5th grade.
Yeah. I'm in highschool and this was still true, though the stuttering was more to second-guessing themselves about pronounciations. But I can read well, and am generally the quiet kid (unless I get fed up and tell people to stfu). (I say was, cuz I'm no longer in in-person schooling, and I'm sure you can guess why [I was bullied and stalked, never got truly violent, for those who assume I mean violence. Only violence was hitting my stalker with an umbrella])
All three of these are me.. And it sucks that people think quiet people want to kill. Yeah, we're usually hurt, and want to fight back, but that doesn't mean we want to stoop to your level. (your being the bully's)
One time i had a similar situation in an online class. When the class ended my classmates posted a meme with a picture of me saying "My name planning to capture Poland" into the WhatsApp group without teacher
I was the quiet kid because I wasn’t great at social interaction. Nobody talked to me so I never got any better at it. I was turned away from tables in the cafeteria at lunchtime by more popular students that I thought were my friends until I stopped trying to sit with people at all. I started to resent “the popular kid” and my mental health started to decline. Then I moved from a public school to a small private school, and on my first day there, students invited me to sit with them for the first time in over a year. I started to talk to people, both students and teachers. My social skills improved and I began to thrive. I was eventually one of the most athletic students there, and got some of the best grades, and I received compliments for it. Some of these compliments made me a bit uncomfortable, partially because it felt like I was being thought of differently from the rest of the students, when all I ever wanted was to be on equal terms with them. By the time I graduated, I had become one of the most popular kids at that school without ever trying to be or even wanting to be, and I did it by being myself instead of trying to fit in. As a side note, one of those Kermit memes resonated with me. I also used to imagine myself beating the crap out of particularly annoying kids while keeping a relatively calm demeanour. Punched three times in the face? Give me a break. Rarely was my imagination so gentle when I was mad. I was never outwardly violent, but that’s part of the reason why I have a punching bag in my basement. It gave me an outlet.

I'm sorry you've had that experience in school. It's a hard situation to be in, as it can wear away at your self-esteem and overall mental health. Try not to take their comments to heart too much. Are there systems in place to meet with people who share your interests? From my experience, trying to be friends with the popular kids in public schools doesn't work very well. Trying to fit in with the popular crowd is sometimes more trouble than it's worth. When you graduate, it won't matter who was popular in high school. What they'll look at is your marks. The better you do in school and university, the more opportunities will open up for you in the future. It's why they say "Don't pick on the smart kids, because one day you're going to work for them". If you embrace who you are, like what you like, and generally be yourself, people who are more like you might gravitate to you. If you talk to them, you might just make friends who think like you do, and like the same stuff as you do.

Oh yeah. These are the ones that I had most problem with. And God forbid if the school cancel any outside activity, they will get in problem just out of boredom in that day. Good thing my school allowed portables and tabletop games during free time. But you would occasionally witness them practicing the FAFO theory (broken walls, broken windows, broken doors, broken desks, broken chairs, broken toys, egg throwing, breakdancing fails, skating in class, and etc).

I was the quiet kid in high school. Two incidents stand out to me: 1. I was staring at a wall trying to think about my art project that was due while the other students were fooling around around me. One sees me staring into the void and I must have been making a face because they say to their friends “DinoTamer is thinking ‘I’m surrounded by idiots’” We all had a good laugh about it. 2. It was a school sleep over and the other 100 student were super noisy as I was trying to sleep. I eventually yelled at every one to be quiet. All 100 students went into a stunned silence as they’d never heard me yell before. I thanked them for their co-operation and went to sleep.
When the Quiet kid is a girl who specializes in observations and notes, people are scared of her writing. When she speaks she isn't heard, but when she writes it horrifies people to the point where they see death threats out of pleas for help... later... it turns out she just writes out fanfiction and fictional pieces with all of her bullies as characters in some way or another. We don't all end up as gun slinging psychos just because the world decided to be crap to us. Some of us are just scary writers... and I'm just disappointed with certain people's reactions to us.

Question, I’m in a paradox right now. I’m the quiet guy in my class but also a popular guy in my school. I usually sit off on my own playing video games and generally prefer being alone but everyone in the school likes to talk to me and bother me which I don’t really mind. My guess would be that the people at your school aren't bound to stereotypes and have actual moral standards. I knew the quiet kid, he was pretty cool, and this absolute beast of a teenager. He was easily the biggest and strongest dude in my class and everyone loved him for it. Ok, so, I was in 6th grade at the time, and I was also one of two quiet kids in my class. The teacher was yelling at the kid for not being on time, and he blew up and started up a roast battle! Ngl, It was pretty epic to watch! LOL!
Question, I’m in a paradox right now. I’m the quiet guy in my class but also a popular guy in my school. I usually sit off on my own playing video games and generally prefer being alone but everyone in the school likes to talk to me and bother me which I don’t really mind. I even have two fan girls which annoy me regularly.
My guess would be that the people at your school aren't bound to stereotypes and have actual moral standards. I am a calm and more passive kid in my school, get along with everybody and have a fantastic class, since everybody gets along with each other very well.
In summary: chances are that we are both people with an actual personality and go to school with actual human beings. Life is (and probably should be) a paradox.
