    Oh thanks Denny one day one of my budgies were stuck in the rope I thought I'd put so that they might play with it but then I had to cut it with the scissors and finally she was released.

    Is that true with the grit? because everyone says they need them. Because i use Diapers on the ground of the cage so they got nothing to chew. So many people suggested me to use grit.

    • @Banansheee
      @Banansheee ปีที่แล้ว

      Its true, budgies indeed remove the seed's outer hull, so they have no problems digesting it + budgies have a very powerful stomach. They dont need any grit

      @mariamd786 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Probably better to not because they can swallow small pieces of rubber

      As long as they don't chew the gum, but it is better to give them wood.

    Can I use natural wood perches like ficus religiosa

  • @maliiandthemango
    @maliiandthemango ปีที่แล้ว +4

    rope toys are okay as long as you check for lose threads and stuff everyday. dowel perches and sand perches obviously have no exceptions, the best perches are natural wood and most of your perches should be natural wood. ( make sure the wood you use is safe and not treated w/ chemicals ) mirrors are okay every once in a while, but they shouldn’t get obsessed with it. some bells are okay, like the long, cylinder-like ones. if you really need a tent for your birds, get a natural one. huts and tents are fine for breeding, but it’s much better to be safe than sorry, so get natural grass huts / tents. plastic toys are okay if you have only a few. sugary treats are terrible for your birds health. organic natural honey should only be fed rarely, like on a hatch / gotcha day. i recommend getting a piece of fruit, dipping it in honey and then seeds, then place it in the fridge til the honey is hard enough to not drip. it’s nice for a “cake” for your birds! bird shampoo and vitamin drops are a no-no. the vitamin drops make your birds water rot, and the shampoo is already explained in the video. next box is also okay for breeding. grit should not be fed too much and grit should only be fed for finches and canaries. i hope you keep you birds safe w/ this information, byee!!
