Another well-regarded coach is the Tiffin. One of my secretaries bought one I think it's 36 feet and it has about a 360 horsepower diesel. Quite a bit less then some of the others and then again quite a bit more than some of the other ones. Great warranty.
Love it can be used without opening the slides Only need to open slides when need to use washer and dryer, only one slide needs to at the foot of the bed
That is a nice unit. We have a Dutch star Newmar 42' motor home. It is a older home but runs like new. It has most of the items that the new ones have. It handles better than a 5th wheel or travel trailer going down the road. It glides down the road and you have little to no engine or road noise, it gets 8 miles to the gallon. It has 3 slides that has plenty of room to relax in when we stop. We have owned travel trailers and a few motorhomes over the years and loved them all. We are not full timers but love the ability to travel with comfortable surroundings. Insurance is expensive #1,200.00 pr.yr. I'm in my mid seventies and handle the motorhome fine with little fatigue at the end of 8 to 10 hours on the road. Anyone who is thinking of buying a large unit should take a driving course first. I love the motorhome but love my sticks and bricks more. Home sweet home. Ray
Hi Ray! That is good to know. Thanks for sharing. We LOVE the Newmar products. We also did a tour on a Dutch Star-- but on that one when the slides were closed you couldn't really use it. I have to say the 3541 is our favorite and we have been looking at older models. That's awesome you are getting 8 mpg!!! And Paul and I are both impressed you can drive for 8-10 hours a day. Six is our absolute max. Happy travels to you and enjoy your home life too!
Oops... found a thing or two missing from the beautiful New Air tour you gave: my wife, Liz and I 😀. Great video. Hope to see ya on the road someday soon.

Good price and length. The slides are painted matching colors to the body, a nice touch. Now rell me why i am purchasing a 28 foot Couger 24 RDS? I get it, pocket book thickness or lack of it. Thanks for the preview.
Hi Terry! The New Aire 3541 is our dream Class A. We couldn't find any downsides-- other than the price. And man that is a doozy. It helps to look around at campers at all price points just to see what's possible. Some features on high-end rigs can be added to other rigs, just as a DIY project. Nothing wrong with a 28' Cougar. Just getting out there and living the Rv life either part or fulltime is a WIN in my book. Happy travels to you-- once travel is once again back on the agenda. Stay safe and well!
Liz is so good with all these walk-around and walkthroughs I think she should be a salesperson cuz should make damn good money she really would because she knows all the products so well she knows what she's talking about
Yep. This is my fantasy RV. Of all the ones we've looked at, this is the one I'd want if I won the lottery. I've since heard you flush just by waving your hand at the toilet!
Hi Lynne! Yeah, I agree. It is super hard to find a Class A with enough counter space AND a big enough sink. We have seen some that have a pull-out counter where the drawers and the counter pulls out as an extension. Just gotta keep shopping!
Great video! Thanks for sharing. We have owned three RV’s. A 27 foot Lance tow-behind. A Heartland Fifth Wheel 45 feet in length and our current home, an Arctic Fox Model 1150 truck camper. Here’s the kicker....we LOVE our truck camper better than the other two units. It really is true. To each their own. Hi Tony! Thanks so much. I've owned seven campers and the very first was a truck camper. That one was super basic- a crankup with canvas sides. But I know what you mean about portability. Sounds like you have always had high quality Rvs. We like the Newmar 3541 BUT it is a huge outlay of $$$! And you're right, something that size is not going to fit in all the National Parks. Happy travels to you!
I have a NEWMAR 3436, a 2017 34 footer. The NEWMAR poor mans model....hah....Love it. My 5th RV. Not as big as my last but my favorite so far. NEWMAR runs a pretty tight ship and puts out a decent RV! Coincidentally, I’ve been looking at E-Bikes! So your site is right up my alley. Keep up the good work! Bill from Newbury Park, CA
Very nice! We are big fans of Newmar, especially the New Aire 3541. We will have to check out the 3436 bc we like that length a lot. Someday we may actually buy one! Stay tuned to our channel bc we will be doing a few ebike reviews soon.
Expect about 7mpg and it's on a Frieghtliner chassis. Of all the Class A's Paul and I have toured, this is our favorite. We can't really see a downside...other than the price. Enjoy your motorhome whichever one you get...happy travels!
Liz Amazing , yes .. definitely this one look like there was no short cut on all the finishing and extra :), it’s probably super heavy with no the best mileage. By the way was thinking maybe sometime you can review RVs tires ? i know some tires come with a “inside” tire . So if they have flat they can keep driving with no damage to the RV . and all other reviews. Love your channel ❤️❤️😍🙏🙏💫
It is all beautiful and convenient. I just don't need all that in my life anymore. I downsized and minimized so I could spend more time doing what I like and not worry about taking care of all that. That material life seems a bit of a waste of time now. But if you are really into it, I think it is really nice! Paul could fix things after it goes out of warranty. These places really stick it to you when you bring it in for repair. The resale has a history of being up and down. It would likely be something held on for life at this point, right?
Right! We love it but just can’t justify buying new. And because Paul is-so handy, buying used makes more sense. And, yes, downsizing and minimizing is the way to go for sure!
what could go wrong with all that tech/electrical stuff? can you fix it yourself? what's covered by the warranty? does it have solar? would you "boondock" in it? is the ride height adjustable for the roads in arizona? if i could afford a rig like that i still wouldn't be interested,
Yes, there is so much to think about when Rv shopping. If you are handy then buying used makes sense. Otherwise new can be good for all the warranties-- and knowing that you likely won't have the repairs you would be making on something older. And boondocking is a huge consideration. We are in fifth wheel right now and it is not setup for boondocking, something we want to do more of in the future.
@@LizAmazing yes, and there's a lot to be said of a Cummin's Diesel , as long as my vw doesn't know I was oogle eying the New Aire she'll be ok, otherwise she might just drop another valve seat like she did after she caught me thinking about a song with a Chevy Van ...
Just discovered your channel the other day and really enjoy how informative (and fun) your channel is. This one is very much like ours except we have the table rather than the booth and we prefer that. Just love it. We aren’t full time as we just love our century old home and both have multiple health issues. And this is a question I wanted to ask. What do you do about health care? We are thinking of doing a few months away in the wintertime after the Holidays. Thanks so much. Keep the fun and information going and, of course, Live Amazing. 😁
Hi Phillip! Wow, lucky you to have a New Aire! We LOVE Newmar and hope to get one similar to yours someday. We also prefer the table over the booth. As far as health care, some people renew all their prescriptions before hitting the road and then refill at national drugstores. I've refilled at CVS and Costco. I am on a national plan so it doesn't matter where I live, but since you are going to keep your home base then your insurance should cover you wherever you are in the US. Try to schedule your doctor visits before you leave. But if you need to visit one while on the road in the winter, it shouldn't be a problem. Happy travels!
Anyone who spends $425,000 on a motor home, has a screw missing as far as I am concerned. I have seen some lovely used, but very well taken care of motor homes for sale. Often, due to the death of a spouse, or the owners are getting on in years and nolonger use their RV. Many have all sorts of extras that have been added. I have come across really beautiful RVs with very low mileage for well under $20,000. I have also seen bus conversions that lack for nothing, and make very cosy tiny houses on wheels. Often they are far more cosy than mass manufactured RVs. I used to fixate on Airstreams, but they are not the only option, even though being well made and of good quality materials is what matters to me. I do not like the idea of towing a vehicle. Airstream Motor Homes are not very common, but can be found. You mention the Newmar you are reviewing even has a safe, I even have one in my little Toyota RV!
Agreed. As I mentioned, we love Newmar and the 3541 is our favorite floorplan. But we certainly would never go out and buy one brand new...unless we win the lottery. However we have met some wealthy people on the road with their Newmars. For some, money is no object and they like getting something brand new. Newmar also allows you to build a coach custom to your tastes. For example, if you like the flooring in their King Aire, they'll put it in the New Aire. I grew up in Florida and the situation down there is very favorable to getting a used RV where the spouse died or the owner had medical issues preventing use. That's awesome you have a safe in your Toyota RV. Is it a Chinook by any chance? I used to have one and I loved the little safe that came with it.
It’s so fun to see the inside of RVs! I was impressed by the 105 gallon fresh water tank and the slide out dinette was pretty cool. Yes, I have to agree... other than the price I didn’t see anything I didn’t like!
Hey Randi! We LOVE the New Aire 3541. Really, no downsides at all. I am totally loving that huge pantry with the slideout drawers. And right now we can't boondock for very long as our freshwater is half of the Newmar's. So, hey, if we win the lottery this is what we'll get!
Pretty damn perfect! I did not see or catch if there was a canopy outside or if the push-outs has built in covers? For the $435K there should be! Hose reels are awesome. What about solar and batteries? Generator? All that weight andby the time you load your 'stuff' onto it... weightwise, I cannot imagine what the gas mileage would be... I would love to feel how it drives. I used to drive CDL for tankers, trucks & buses. I would love to know what that rides like. Unfotunately way beyond my skies for $money & maintenance. Theres a nice teardrop or smaller fiberglass in my future. An Oliver twinbed would be ideal buy it exceeds my tow limits. So less is more. Thnx Liz & Paul!
You're so welcome. We saw no downside either. If you've watched our other reviews, we always point out what we feel are drawbacks. This one has a slew of batteries but I can't remember if it has solar or not. I know it had a powerful inverter, I think 2000 watts. 8000w diesel generator. We didn't get to drive it. Yep, it doesn't come cheap! Teardrops are pretty sweet! I am sure you can find online and in-person meetups of other teardrops, once you get yours. Super nimble and fun!
i have been looking to buy for a while but i cannot get past the price to have something new that looks like it came out of the seventies! there is way too much old fashioned woodwork in these!, why not modern light composites etc to look more spacious!
I don't care what a 475-thousand dollar RV looks like and 99% of the people watching this video can't afford it either. Just sayin'........ But thanks for posting anyway.
@@helenboula3538 If the two love birds have the money for it then great. But I'm pretty sure that 99% of the people on this channel, couldn't afford it, and really don't care to see a video about it...............just sayin'...........LOL.
Right from the start, I don't like it because it's not a tag axel.... motorhomes are the biggest depreciating in value asset... a used one under $100,000 from Monaco, Tiffin, Fleetwood, etc is fine.....
Newmar certainly are Fabulous coaches. I always liked the construction & amenities. I myself like to Travel so $$$$ for traveling expenses is priority for my bank account.😊⛽🇺🇸
Yes, we were super-wowed by the amenities and the quality. But buying one of these isn't just about being able to afford the coach. There is also fuel and insurance. And insurance is NOT cheap!
Wow! The New Aire is high on our list and we did not notice that. Yeah, we would for sure want additional ventilation. Thanks for the heads up and happy RV shopping to you!.
The New Aire is amazing. I've been a huge fan of this coach since it came out in 2018. That MSRP you quoted isn't even the fully loaded version. They are at about $492k I believe. With that 450hp engine added in 2020 the thing is a outright beast. Sure, for 95% of us it would require a lottery win to buy one new. There isn't anything comparable out there in the 35ft segment.
We are part of that 95% for sure! Paul and I have toured several Newmars and this is our favorite by far! We love the length and this is the only one under 40 feet that has a lot of good outside storage. When we win the lottery this is the rig we'll get. And, yes, the 450hp engine is the way to go! Thanks for commenting!
Thanks, Brian. The Newmar 3541 is by far our favorite Class A motorcoach. The only hurdle for us is the price. We sure love it though! Thanks for watching and for your comment.
Everything except the tiny kitchen sink is lovely, but not for me. Not only way out of my budget, but wouldn’t want anything like this. What did you two decide about trucks and rigs? If you posted a video about it, i missed it.
Yep, the sink IS a little tight. We have a large farmhouse sink in the fifth wheel. We ended up posting on the Community Board-- we are keeping the Chevy bc of its higher tow rating and shorter wheelbase. However (as you can tell) we are camper shopping so we may trade it all in on a nice Class A. We LOVE the New Aire 3541-- but way too pricey!
Great video tour, looks professional. I'd accept it as a gift, but I see lots of time in the shop fixing all the extra stuff that can break. Thanks for letting us see how the other half live.
P.s. I see you've attracted some jealous haters. Block people who cannot accept an experienced adult making decisions for herself and living her best life now.
Fun to look at but overall RV's are horrible investments. Having said that, my wife and I are going to an RV show in town this weekend. If someone gave me one of these class a's, I wouldn't even use it, I'd sell it as soon as I could and buy a new class b. We like things simple. Have fun!
Thanks for watching. We love to tour Rvs and this Newmar New Aire 3541 is one of our favorites! And...you can flush the toilet with the wave of a hand!
Good information, but that's just too pricey for me. I want to travel (& I'm living in Europe now). But I don't want to spend the same amount for a year or two of travel, that I'd spend on an upscale home.
That's what we thought. We love Newmar, particularly this model, the 3541. We honestly couldn't find any downsides to this motorhome....except for the price. I recommend looking for used Newmars, especially around 2004. Also, we ended up getting a travel trailer (5th wheel) instead of a coach because we found we could get far more for our money. We still love the Class A's though!
Lol, you sure like to read a lot into the lives of 2 people you've never met. I'm certainly not thinking what you're thinking, unless you're thinking "Helen is just a tad judgemental."
Good point. And this New Aire 3541 is actually one of the few that has an escape door. It seems rare to find a Class A with a driver's door. We are happy with our fifth wheel but also shopping for something a little bigger-- but not in this price range for sure!
It's an Rv Tour! Let me know what you think are the pros/cons or if there is another Rv we should be looking at? We can't afford this but would LOVE a similar floorplan.
@@LizAmazing I would not want the side by side fridge. My mom has had two & both were a pain in thee arse! Freezer issues with drainage and doors not ooening fully. Or doors constantly trying to close on you when both hands are full trying to put something in or take something out. Omo
It was at Holland Rv in Palm Desert. When you buy one, tell them my name and I’ll split my cut with you! ;-) Actually, I am not getting a thing- but we sure love the New Aire 3541!
@@LizAmazing you have a great sense of humor. You really should get a commission. You are very good at this infomercial stuff. You should get some paying acting jobs even if just for commercials, right? Lol, no kidding girl!
Hope youre NOT considering getting any NEW rv!! the value drops like a meteor from outer space once u drive it off the lot! Ive done a variety of camping styles and i have to say Im a 5th wheel person. cheap to buy and register, easy to tow, no engine to repair (trucks have a warranty), plus u can drop it and drive around in the truck. Plus a 35 ft 5th wheel has all the amenities thats on this bus....open the slides and it feels much more like a home than a bus does! Have u ever driven a motor home? owners describe it as "the white knuckle" rv for a reason!! plus they are very expensive to repair compared to 5th wheels.
I agree about not buying new. How they drive depends on the chassis. We have a fifth wheel and are fulltimers. We want a lot of what the Newmar New Aire offers- but def want to get used. And Paul says some Class A’s are like driving a bar of soap!
@@LizAmazing Are you guys considering the big M word? y'all seem certainly stuck on each other!! but thats the way it was pretty much when i met my hubby...only i realized it before he did...still married at 42 yrs now...ok if u dont want to say of course...but I wd wait at least 6 months; we waited about 9 months; no not because of a baby!! that came 2 yrs later but i dont think that will be an issue here.. ha ha!
Right? This video sure looks different six months later now that the economy changed and many people are suffering. You know what's crazier, the New Aire is considered entry-level luxury! What I love the most about RVs is that there is one at every price point. My first camper was just a junky little truck camper that someone had abandoned in their yard-- but I LOVED it! We hope you are doing ok during these uncertain times. Be safe.
First off u 2 look absolutely adorable together, I'm fairly new to your channel and look forward to watching y'all, but with that said gosh that is a amazing home on wheels, I would love to live in that and all the extras, wow, but I think I would be scared to drive it lol
Awww, thanks so much. We are so enjoying being together! We are actually Class A shopping-- can't afford this New Aire but it does seem pretty perfect. And a good point: before we buy anything we definitely need to get behind the wheel. I'm sure it must feel like driving a bus.
I replied to your comments. I especially love the phrase you wrote: worry is putting energy into the wrong outcome. I will try to remember that the next time I worry!
Hello my friends. I enjoyed your wonderful video. The coach is very charming but I don’t get a good look at the most important room in the coach...the bathroom 🚽! I did bot see The commode or the shower. Those are must see. Thank you so very much for sharing.🍏
I WOULD NEVER BUY ONE ☹️One word of caution when you buy a Newmar you better be sure that they get the right type of siding on it not like my country star 2004 they put the wrong type of siding on it and it’s all cracked millions of little pieces I call them and they won’t do a thing about it and we paid $$164,000
Sorry but to me, all these brand new riggs are not attractive and pretty much cookie cutter. I prefer whimzikle and old like me lol Besides why pay a fortune for something that will depreciate . Not a very wise investment. Just sayin
Has anyone ever seen his RV that he had when they met because I certainly saw her fifth wheel or she wasn't doing shabby she was doing very well I mean this woman I don't say that she's rich but she's a man's I like I can tell that from the divorce just saying.
Did she even check this man out did she do a dossier on him does he have a criminal history behind him that's a lot of questions there I feel weird about this man something. It doesn't add up I'm just saying I'm concerned for her.
What do you think of the 2020 Newmar Aire 3541?
We LOVE it-- can't afford it. Would love to hear your pros and cons of this or any other Class A we should consider.

Love your reviews, Smart & Funn 💕🙏🙏
Thanks so much! We love Newmar and if we were to get a Class A, the New Aire would be the one.
Thanks so much! Welcome.

What are the terms for a $175,000 RV?
month price and months.
Interest rates are low and new Rv loans can be carried out 20 years, I've heard.
nothin a lotto ticket couldn't buy, Im buying more Lotto tickets .. ;)).. and in the mean time, my 78 vw bus will keep me primed for the transition .
Oooh, I bet your VW is pretty sweet! There's a lot to be said for the character of the vintage models for sure!

Love you guys!
Awww, thanks so much! Welcome to our channel. More good stuff to come--!

Two cons, I would like lower window on entry door to see vehicles and people right by the coach and a desk at passenger seat. Otherwise, very nice.
Yes, both of those would be great improvements. Thanks for your comment, Deborah!
Watch now: we just posted a tour of another Newmar- this one is a nimble Class A-under 30 feet! th-cam.com/video/mfCi-6MKYIo/w-d-xo.html

We see the European campers have a much lighter and nice look. Hope that comes to the US soon. Even so, we love the New Aire!
Great Product Review Liz .

Fun to look at but overall RV's are horrible investments. Having said that, my wife and I are going to an RV show in town this weekend. If someone gave me one of these class a's, I wouldn't even use it, I'd sell it as soon as I could and buy a new class b. We like things simple. Have fun!

Can't imagine the insurance on that monster. Then taxes and fuel on top of that.
I agree about not buying new. How they drive depends on the chassis. We have a fifth wheel and are fulltimers. We want a lot of what the Newmar New Aire offers- but def want to get used. And Paul says some Class A’s are like driving a bar of soap!

Watch now: we just posted a tour of another Newmar- this one is a nimble Class A-under 30 feet! th-cam.com/video/mfCi-6MKYIo/w-d-xo.html
Hey you are showing one of the residential unit in Trump Tower.
😁😁
Right? Hard to believe these are considered mid-luxury. Full luxury is $1 million+

I love Newmar but I don't like the bathroom in the middle.
I like that when it’s 1.5 baths. Otherwise, not much counter space.

Does it come with a maid??
It should! We love everything about the New Aire 3541- except the price!

Hi Liz! I also like to have space for computer- desk space, do not see it in most RVs. Price is crazy high. 😀
It sure is high- yet the New Aire 3541 is selling like hotcakes! I, too, want a computer desk workstation

@@LizAmazing Hi Liz! I do not see any space for computer :-) this is not.. for I am looking for?
I WOULD NEVER BUY ONE ☹️One word of caution when you buy a Newmar you better be sure that they get the right type of siding on it not like my country star 2004 they put the wrong type of siding on it and it’s all cracked millions of little pieces I call them and they won’t do a thing about it and we paid $$164,000
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your coach. We love the Newmar but will be cautious for sure. Thanks.

Sorry but to me, all these brand new riggs are not attractive and pretty much cookie cutter. I prefer whimzikle and old like me lol Besides why pay a fortune for something that will depreciate . Not a very wise investment. Just sayin
And you make a very good point. Paul and I are finding the older campers to be better made, better quality. Buying used is a valid plan for sure~

I think I know what a sugar mama looks like that I do.
And you can tell who put the money out for this rig.
Hey now, it’s all good. I’m a lucky gal for sure!
Helen Boula she’s a gold digger just like my sister in law he seems like a decent guy. I think he should have done the.back round check
