When did prowl car go out of style as a way to describe a police car I like it. It’s in all these old noir radio shows.
Fun to listen to both of them in one of the shows.
I prefer Mohr but enjoy both. Great that both shows did the same story. Makes it really easy to compare.

Actually, you were my first that I started listening to the stories on the on the radio listen to me radio on TH-cam at night and now my goddaughter and her family are her friends are listening to you. I send the post to them and they just get the biggest kick out of something that they can use their mind and not see something out of electronic. They’re actually enjoying it, so I got them hooked up. I don’t know if they follow you but every time something is really cool. I always said it to them.
I vote for Van Helfin. I always enjoyed his acting. 😊
I have to admit that I was biased towards Gerald Mohr but as time has gone by Van Heflin has really grown on me. They also seem to be two different Marlowes. Just my opinion. I especially liked Van Heflin in the Robin Hood episode with Jeff Chandler. I love this stuff.

Well for ol timey detective slang Gerald Moir, but for actual emotion in the right place Van Heflin seems a better actor but a bit low key. I prefer the snarkier Moir because I'm use to and loved Bogart.

I've listened to the string of fake pearls repeatedly. And I still don't get it. He told her they're fake. So why get another fake set & dump the original fakes in the ocean? I'm missing something.

I prefer Gerald Mohr three to one over Van.
Within 5 seconds and I knew Van Heflin was *NOT* for me. He sounds like he is reading a script. Too robotic for my taste
