~ ABOUT CRYPTA ~
Born in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal fourpiece, influenced by the old school sub-genres of the style.
The band’s lineup include Fernanda Lira (vocals & bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), both ex-members of Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitars) who also plays in Cobra Spell and played formerly in the heavy metal band Burning Witches, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitars), ex-member of Hagbard.
Yeah, she's awesome. This is the first album in a long while where I'm paying close attention to the drumming, because it's so excellent. Fast, accurate blast beats and near-constant tempo changes steal the show!
Best female original song drummer ive seen, not your usual "princess" covering ACDC!
Not only that, but she doesn't play like a girl. And her arm movement is higher than most male drummers.
Until recently I also thought that she is the best FEMALE DRUMMER. Eversince I saw this video I think she is the ... BEST DRUMMER.

@@billyx8818 Luana Dametto and Amber "A. Morthaemer" de Buijzer (Asagraum, ex-Sisters of Suffocation) are my favourite female drummers. However, I don't know Eleni very well.
@@metalmanfin6827 oh you should check her out in her band "Nervosa" there's an array of good female drummers these days.
All true, but we have to wait until the live shows and festivals are safe to do again. I know it's unlikely that Crypta will perform soon(a year or two) near me, but I still keep my hopes up!
The most awesome drumming I've ever seen
That section from 2:!0 to 2:30 just strikes all the right chords for me. So clean, perfect tempo. Just a brilliant riff for the perfect headbang.
