Maneka - strong and very pretty and they way she expressed herself was very connecting and pain is clearly seen in her eyes.
I clearly remember the day SG died and the things that followed . IG was grooming SG in politics. When he died IG was shattered . Later MG had to leave the house in the middle of the night. One of the top magazines of those times had carried a photo of MG’s belongings thrown out . There was a caption which said something like it is the same whether you are a daughter in law of the common man or that of PM.
MG was sidelined after Rajiv Gandhi agreed to join politics
Good she left the house.
