landmarks have 3 different effects that can be activated for each round. once it is activated, it changes to the next act/effect.

Coming from Hearthstone, I feel like the game would be so much better if the champions weren't cards but used like hearthstone 'class' heroes and only when you use their hero power will it do a function of their kit and when you complete a quest, like activating your hero power 5 times(for example), would you get a playable card version of your hero as a legendary card..imo it would open up much more variety in game play.
Could u explain it with an example pls? I’m having a hard time imagining a champion working like that in LoR
That would be such a massive change that needs entirely new designs and requires most other cards to be reworked.. At that point we wouldn't be talking about a better or worse version of the game, that'd be straight up a different game
@reyabea maybe that's what the pvp adverbs actually needs because you literally fight the save 3 champions in every single deck just about in standard... it's very very narrow in terms of variety because if you build something off meta you won't climb bc of loss of power for flavor cards and half of the cool combos that could happen get mowed down easily with the top 3 decks. Don't get me started that everyone plays Vex either, that right there tells you that chemin needs a nerf when the entire player base runs her
@pablogg7200 for instance the more marshal combat heroes. Let's take Vi for instance. Her hero power could be heal 1 hp for 2 mana. Once she completed her quest of "strike for 10 in one hit", it would change her hero power to heal 3hp for 5 mana. This way it gives her more of a presence where certain decks want to just keep trading units for value. This opens up that your opponent has to counter her with spells or invest in resources to secure her takedown before she starts wiping your units and putting 5 additional points on to the nexus. Like in LoL, she does have a shield as an ability and this example would mimic her sustain in combat because at the end of the day she's a bruiser who should be fighting on the frontline so to speak.
There's too many decks that run easy removal of champions especially before you can even level them up it's crazy.
