@@sandovalpaul they will usually run you about $500 for some of the cheaper options and go up from there depending on how fancy you want to get

Sick truck bro prob the best 1st gen I've seen. I got an 01 prerunner w 190k miles. how many mile on this beast?
I thought the few white 4x4s had a grey interior.
I looked for a white one with grey interior for months at every dealership and ended up getting a red one with shit brown interior with the intention to sell it when I found the white one.
I will never sell my red truck even though I dont like the color. My truck has been a beast and it got even more improved throught the years. I usually get the buy offer from people but nah. I'll never find another dependable truck like mine again. Keep the videos coming and the TLC on your truck going.
I’m not sure how many were grey or tan. I looked for almost a year before I found this one, I actually really like the tan now! I will be posting more so stay tuned!
Awesome!!! And dont ever get rid of it. I used and abused mine for the past 400,000 miles until I added a transmission cooler and an all aluminum Koyo radiator.
Now the engine and transmission are loving the upgrade I should have done since the beginning.
I towed a 22.5' Centurion Avalanche with it among other things. These trucks were but for combat! Lol.

Can you do a review on the prinsu roof rack on what and how you mounted cause I want to purchase one for my Tacoma too

Prinsu roof rack pro tip: use NEW cobalt or titanium bits that are sharp and made for metal. The first two holes to drill are a pain

Hey man sick truck! I got a Extended Cab same year. Question how did you get those bumpers on? The website says they only go down to 2nd Gen. Do they fit on a first gen?
For a time they made bumpers for the first Gen. They are now discontinued and won’t show up on the website

Quick question, how does the canopy do with the weight of the tent + rack? I have a canopy & would like to put the prinsu on it with the tent (same exact RTT as you) did you end up adding inside supports? Or just run it as is? Thanks.

Do you have something to reinforce the rack on the topper to hold the weight of the tent?
Didn’t need to. The prinsu rack is very sturdy. I have 2 additional cross bars that the tent mounts on and then they bolt in to prinsu rack like they normally would. It distributes the weight nicely

I don’t! Most of their first gen stuff has been discontinued unfortunately
Not seeing that bumper on the CBI website any longer. Discontinued? Not nearly as many gen 1 bumper options out there compared to later models

they are plasti dipped OE emblems
What gearing are you running with the 33’s?
For now the stock 4.10s. Gonna be gearing to 4.88s soon

Hey, I just got a hold of my 04 Taco after joining the military. Currently I’m stationed up north and was looking for a build like this “pretty sweet btw”. Do you know if I called CBI if they would make the front and rear bumper again or and I looking at trying to make one custom?

The tent is really the only thing I take off. That is pretty much how it sits as my daily. I avg 13 or so I would say around town.

I wish i could find a tacoma at a decent price 1ts or 2nd gen but they are overpriced like crazy.
Ya Tacoma’s have been through the roof! They are a very popular truck, maybe someday they will come down
They’re expensive used because of their reliability.
Luckily picked up a 122k mile taco for 8k! I’m still in disbelief.
