Recently I was in Spain where you could pick this up bottled for €1.20 each. You could also get canned Oettinger Weiss beer for €1.05. Made for a great holiday
Hi Simon I had the same issue with my machine. I put a cotton bud in bottling water and clean the mechanism with it after about every case that I use. Works very well👍
Absolutely love my sub but I agree with what you've said previously that it's sometimes too cold for some things. I'd happily buy another more expensive version with a variable temperature gauge and I'd probably buy a wider variety of beers for it
My Compact does that and cleaning made no difference. The top half of the tap assembly comes away from the bottom half causing it to loose contact with the beer line. I find that resting my pouring hand on top of the tap assembly while pouring prevents this from happening. Great review 👍
Hi Simon., They now have Paulaner Weissbier on draft at The Penny Royal St Mary's Street Cardiff. Only thing is its £6.50 a pint but it tastes amazing!
i have been having it from the 500ml cans into the same sized weiss bier glass..bloody love it.Have been getting from ALDI here in Melbourne and its been a Christmas new year treat .If I could drink this all year round I wouldn't hesitate 🙂
La chouffe, delerium ,st feullian,languitas also craft beers on the sub are unpasteurized so uber fresh not knocking the Pd as I own one and love it but in terms of quality beers the sub holds it's own easily imo 🍺👍👍🍺
I dont mind this wiess beer being really cold on the sub makes it so refreshing I pick up quite a bit of citrus less bannana compared to other wiess beers I have tried ..a tremendous beer enjoy👍🍺🍺
Yes, the Krups, PD, and Blade are ok for lagers and ciders which most people prefer to drink cold. But they’re not ideal for beer which is meant to be served at a higher temperature. Many Belgian beers for example are meant to be served at 8-12 degrees. When that type of beer comes out these dispensers at 3 degrees, some of the taste is definitely lost.
Too bloody cold ! I wish I did not wasted money on my Phillips machine which keeps beer at 3 degrees . Paulaner Weissbier in bottles is my personal favourite beer discovery this year
Every time I go to Bavaria I have that beer it’s every where nr Munich , They even do a non-alcoholic which is brilliant as well doesn’t taste any different

Ive only had my sub compact a couple weeks and today ive picked up a torp of Paulaner for £7.50! Cannot wait to try it, as i adore it in bottle

I’ve had the same issue with the tap handle, I’ve cleaned it properly and afterwards I’ve put some WD40 on the mechanism it’s working fine now.

Stick the machine on 4 torp lids and will help with cooling and pour a full pint
Love my sub and the keg prices are decent. The issue is the delivery is ridiculous if you cant afford a box of 8.
Wiessbier is all I drink love it , I used to have a couple of glasses and a Juergen Klopp glass won with Paulaner but her indoors broke them all ,
Never heard of Paulaner before , Tesco sells Paulaner Munich Hell lager....think i'll give it a go....its got a 5* rating
Mate their beers are incredible if you like lagers you’ll love their helles

Paulaner is £21.60 for 12 at total wine at the moment, which works out to £1.80 a bottle.
Pour it leave it then pour a second while your drinking so the temp is up by time you drink it
Simon buy a monitor riser from amazon to sit you krups on makes it higher and so much easier

just had my first Paulaner Weissbier & it's good but not for me as good as Franziskaner, not got the creamy mouth feel
