I have a 4 month old Jiindo male pup and yes they are quite stubborn indeed! One thing that is ideal for this breed is using a prong collar, really makes the walks more enjoyable and he'll mostly follow my lead. Love Jindos!!

I am also trying to adopt a dog through Love and Second Chances, not sure how the whole process works. Found a dog that we absolutely adore! Just sent an email of confirmation for him - we've only seen videos and pictures but have a good feeling! Is it competitive with other families?
I think it probably depends! I applied for another Jindo who ended up being placed with another family. After that rejection, they set me up with Mochi and we couldn’t imagine our life without her! It can take time, but the perfect fit will come your way.
We understand mochi is a Japanese word, but decided to name her that anyways because I have wanted mochi as a dog’s name my whole life, years before we even decided on this breed. We could have named her chapssalddeok, the Korean version of mochi. But let’s face it, it’s harmless and mochi is cuter :)
