Violet Myst there’s actually nothing wrong with shorter reins! While riding, you want to have full contact to the bit. Having long reins when you jump, gallop or canter is actually much more dangerous than having long reins. Please do your research before saying things you might not not have fully knowledge about! 😌😊

Lmao I only have the buckskin andy to train (half way through lvl 14) and my rune runner (lvl 4) and Im saving up for an ETB, what I do when Im saving up is I only train once a week and only go up one lvl, and dont buy another horse until all horses are trained even if I have enough for a new horse :)

I have a quarter horse in real life too that I ride reining, western pleasure, gymkhana, hunt seat, and saddle seat with. Aqha’s can be ridden in anything and it’s not your business what other people ride in either.
I kind of understand the western rider’s frustration with the amount of dressage clubs using the ranch arena. Like, it’s a well known fact that the riding arena is used by dressage clubs so western riders were really excited when they heard about the arena on the ranch because they finally had someplace where there wouldn’t be a bunch of people doing dressage, but then dressage clubs moved to the ranch, which was established as a western space by Star Stable.
The AQH are horses like for everything, not just for western but many people thinks that, I guess it's because it's more popular, but the place where I used to go to train had mostly quarter Horses, and they specialized in English riding and jumping

I wish every racetrack had its own music, I guess sorta like Mario Kart, and that it was all like really good and fun and like I guess appropriate music for the track, so I would want them to take their time and not rush it.

IRL quarter horses do EVERYTHING that's why they are so loved! Like racing to western sports, to English evening. All horses can do anything. Even thought all my quarter horses ride mainly western, they do English things as well. I have a mare that likes doing barrel racing and cross country. What a horse does IRL and in SSO is up to the horse and the owner. My greatest problems with sso is no 2 point, wrong diagonals, loose reins (but you can change between loose and tight for different riders )
The most annoying thing in star stable is training XD (edit) also when your about to finish a race that’s really hard like Dino race when your not on a tolerant horse your game crashes 😭😤😤😭
I have a full-bred AQH. He was born on a ranch and rode western almost his whole life, now he is a jumping pony and he loves it, way more than western work.

Hey Violet, I have two challenges for you (don't know if anyone has done this yet) you should do a challenge where you pick the worst statted clothing that you have (if you have two options you can choose which one) and do the same with your horse. after that, you will tell your review on the "beautiful" outfit you created. the second challenge for you is to do the best-statted clothing you have (same thing as before) and do a review on it! that's it! just came to my mind for you to try :3
about the aqh thing - i also have a quarter horse. he was originally trained to do western pleasure, but when my grandparents got him they got him in english tack. grandparents do trail rides all the time, just some walk trot. he was not about that. he really likes to run and do the things we do now, which is jumping and dressage things every once in a while (my mom does those, i'm working towards that) so we got him and yes we do ride western sometimes but mostly only for shows.
The "always closed" servers are backups, they're kept empty and closed until, say, a global pandemic makes a ton of people play sso and they need more server room.
ughh the soul riding missions are actually so annoying. that's why i don't really like doing the ones where you have to transfer energy bc they always go to places u can't reach and it frustrates me lmao. i like the collecting missions tho. great video violet :D i love where you share your opinions on stuff like these. you have a lot of great points.

I completely agree that AQH can be ridden English. For an example, on of the horses I ride irl is a registered AQH who's never been ridden Western in his life, and is super good for jumping. Another example, My friend just bought an AQH who is also an amazing jumper. So I'm so sick and tired of hearing people going on and on about how AQH are only Western, cause it's BS. (sorry)

I understand that anyone is allowed anywhere with any kind of horse and tack, but I also understand how the western riders feel too. Like it’s a WESTERN arena. That’s literally what’s it’s called. People ride English at the riding hall and people ride western at the western arena.
How to close the stall door when it doesn’t close: Arrange all your horses. It closes the stall door. As long as you are leading your horse or mounting it/ on it then it doesn’t take that horse into the stall. But the stalls do close!!
The one about the quarter horse KILLS me because, i have a mustang X quarter horse and we do the 1-1.10 meter jumpers and have jumped up to 1.20 meters. AND shes a rescue so she isn't your typical jumper but we love it and do pretty well. so people who say quarter horses are western horses are a lil misinformed!

(also i really loe your name. mine has a terrible last name as i thought the first word of the last name was the middle name. maybe i can change it one day owo the chat filter really annoys me as well. i recently got a chat suspension for three days(it just ended today), just for trying to type words like "this" or "join" and even "in". the chat filter has gotten ten times worse than it already was, and i hope sso fixes this soon. the last time i got a chat ban and didnt know why, i contacted support and all they told me was that i said "go die" which i did not recall doing at all, the entire time i had logged on. the only possibility on why i mightve said that and just dont remember, was saying dye as in the dressage term. but i was in a call with my club the whole time and never said any terms within chat. it sucks that you cant even get people to find ur discord through sso cause that stuff tags too. and i get why it tags it, but its really frustrating for the chat to be almost impossible to chat in, and yet you cant even tell ur friends how to contact you elsewhere. if sso just lessened the reins on the filter a bit, people might not feel like they have to get all their friends on discord. making the promotion of discord on sso much less.
SSO called them the ultimate western horse because they are based off reining horses. Just thought I should mention that for the people who didn’t know ❤️
My too annoying thoughts: 1 the fact that when you sell your horse you get shillings instead of star coins which you used to pay for the horse 2. When pets are more expensive than our Jorvik ponys.
5:03 my family owns pretty much all AQHs (but not all are pure) I used to ride western for my whole life, I learned how to ride in western, but then one day I wanted to learn how to jump, so I did, when I knew how to ride English, I took my western horse to my lesson. When we first came to a jump he stopped and just reached over it ( he did this b/c he’s a kids trail horse and taught not to jump) so it took him a while ( and he’s still not great) but he jumps now.
6:16 I really agree with Violet, here. The arena is for everyone, you don’t need to like it, but you should tell people to leave. I’m in a Western club, we were doing Western Pleasure in the Riding Hall/Arena once, and the dressage people were making fun of us and telling us to get out. I don’t care what you do, Jorvik is and will always be for everyone.

The reason why there's so many bugs and glitches on the AQH and a few more horses like the Pony is because they're updating the Characters and are trying to make it fit perfectly. (Theory)

They said they don’t have to tech to “ignore all” but they should give us a arena that works like the council building. Like it only shows your club members in there.
I completely agree that AQH can be ridden English. For an example, on of the horses I ride irl is a registered AQH who's never been ridden Western in his life, and is super good for jumping. Another example, My friend just bought an AQH who is also an amazing jumper. So I'm so sick and tired of hearing people going on and on about how AQH are only Western, cause it's BS. (sorry)

But quarter horses wearing English tack? Then you obviously aren’t a person that knows about other activities in riding
Quarter horses do show jumping, that’s English
Quarter horses do eventing, that’s also English
There are many English activities that quarter horses do where it’s ok if they have English tack on
Quarter horses are just mostly known for western but they are also accomplished English horses as well

Do you believe is was wrong? Or Okay? I believe it was wrong because you should never judge or joke about someone or something being different from its appearance. ( Doesnt include items) I was offended because some of my family are darker people (I mean that in a non racist way) and I love them because of there personality. I do not judge them based on there Appearance.

2:when the horse you want to buy is 1 star coin from what you have
I understand that anyone is allowed anywhere with any kind of horse and tack, but I also understand how the western riders feel too.
Like it’s a WESTERN arena. That’s literally what’s it’s called. People ride English at the riding hall and people ride western at the western arena.

How to close the stall door when it doesn’t close:
Arrange all your horses. It closes the stall door. As long as you are leading your horse or mounting it/ on it then it doesn’t take that horse into the stall. But the stalls do close!!

The one about the quarter horse KILLS me because, i have a mustang X quarter horse and we do the 1-1.10 meter jumpers and have jumped up to 1.20 meters. AND shes a rescue so she isn't your typical jumper but we love it and do pretty well. so people who say quarter horses are western horses are a lil misinformed!
For the people who don’t know what a appendix is in horses it’s a Quarter horse Thoroughbred mix and those are aloud to race.
EDIT: aside from abigail pinehaven and elizabeth riverland, you are my favorite sso youtuber. you have such a level head when it comes to talking about sso, and the community within it. most people either sugar coat the whole game, or downright call it trash. you are a mixture of honesty, and knowing truly how far the game has come and tries. keep it up violet. (also i really loe your name. mine has a terrible last name as i thought the first word of the last name was the middle name. maybe i can change it one day owo
the chat filter really annoys me as well. i recently got a chat suspension for three days(it just ended today), just for trying to type words like "this" or "join" and even "in". the chat filter has gotten ten times worse than it already was, and i hope sso fixes this soon.
the last time i got a chat ban and didnt know why, i contacted support and all they told me was that i said "go die" which i did not recall doing at all, the entire time i had logged on. the only possibility on why i mightve said that and just dont remember, was saying dye as in the dressage term. but i was in a call with my club the whole time and never said any terms within chat.
it sucks that you cant even get people to find ur discord through sso cause that stuff tags too. and i get why it tags it, but its really frustrating for the chat to be almost impossible to chat in, and yet you cant even tell ur friends how to contact you elsewhere. if sso just lessened the reins on the filter a bit, people might not feel like they have to get all their friends on discord. making the promotion of discord on sso much less.
SSO called them the ultimate western horse because they are based off reining horses. Just thought I should mention that for the people who didn’t know ❤️

5:03 my family owns pretty much all AQHs (but not all are pure) I used to ride western for my whole life, I learned how to ride in western, but then one day I wanted to learn how to jump, so I did, when I knew how to ride English, I took my western horse to my lesson. When we first came to a jump he stopped and just reached over it ( he did this b/c he’s a kids trail horse and taught not to jump) so it took him a while ( and he’s still not great) but he jumps now.
6:16 I really agree with Violet, here. The arena is for everyone, you don’t need to like it, but you should tell people to leave. I’m in a Western club, we were doing Western Pleasure in the Riding Hall/Arena once, and the dressage people were making fun of us and telling us to get out. I don’t care what you do, Jorvik is and will always be for everyone.

The QUARTER HORSE THING THO! We had a full quarter horse in real life and he litterly was ridden English his whole life! Like they also race! They are called quarter horses cause they can run a quarter of a mile! Lol it bugs me if u can tell😅😆 lov ur vids btw❤
I have a Thoroughbred irl who is also an ex race horse and now I use western tack so I rlly don’t see the problem in using a quarter horse in English tack. Btw fun fact quarter horse were not breed for western they were breed for quarter mile races UwU

The reason why there's so many bugs and glitches on the AQH and a few more horses like the Pony is because they're updating the Characters and are trying to make it fit perfectly. (Theory)
