I'm a 13 yo girl which typically shouldn't be listening to this but around 5 years ago when I was around 8 I'd be told to take a nap on the couch late at night but throughout those earlier years of my life I'd always have sleeping problems so I'd never actually sleep. Instead I was listening to this song along with many others by My Darkest Days. This is because my mother would crank it in the kitchen while chain smoking and doing the dishes. Whenever I seek nostalgia I go straight to this kinda music because that's definitely where it is. As soon as I hear his voice it's as if I can smell the cigarette smoke from my kitchen. Well then you and him need to sit down with her and get her to explain to the both of you exactly what the problems she has with him and the relationship yall have. Figure that out and if he cares about you he won't be opposed to doing things to show he's changed. Parents can't enforce their ideals if their ideals are smashed into oblivion lol. Honestly though make the effort to talk to her like an adult about how u feel(without whining, bitching, and throwing a fit) and try showing her the changes hes made in his life. Alot of times parents disapprove for a valid reason. Maybe she knows he isn't a good guy for u and doesn't want to see your heart get broken. U never know. The most u can do is have a grown-up conversation about it and talk to her about maybe slowly working up to more. U have to show her your responsible enough to make your own choices and cope with the mistakes.

i give up long ago of my parents opions fact is they never got me now im married to man they cant stand im in middle but put it plan to them he married me not them it my choice what i deal with in my marrage and life
