It has been interesting looking through comments on various reactions for this, both from the rap side and the League of Legends side. The former generally say that Rustage and Dan Bull did much better than the rest as is only to be expected, and that the non-rappers at least tried. The latter often say that Dan has the weakest verse, as it is the least team-specific, being an excellent League rap first and a Rogue rap second. As someone who enjoys content from both sides, I thought they all did well - those weaker at rap compensating with more flair from personal attachment to the team they are representing, and vice versa.
For reference:
Drakos (the 1st person) and Vedius (3rd) have the 'most experience' rapping on the League side, having done all of the previous ones. Sjokz (5th) has been in two previous ones, and Caedrel (4th) is completely new to it, but used to play for the team he is representing (XL).
As a LEC fan its true, I enjoyed Dan's verse the least like he was saying nothing. Rustage had little bit better because it had more refrences. But pure rap perspective Dan killed them all.

You'll see this a lot in the comments of anime raps as well, in certain songs. It always seems to be the songs where they do POV raps. Some people seem to not "get" it and claim that it's not a rap about X because it lacks the references and not realizing that the person is rapping as if they were the person/team/etc rather than just just flooding their lyrics with constant references that people out of the know wont get.
definitely coming from the league side here, it's Really interesting to watch it again a few days later and mull. First watch I was really impressed by cadrel for putting himself out there, and thought vedius did as good as the pros. Then for a few days after, I realised the snippets I was recalling were all from rustage and Dan bull. Watching it again, there's just so much more depth and nuance to the DB and Rustage sections.

The first guy (Daniel Drakos) has a song of his own on his own channel, he's fairly good tbh, he helped write most of Caedrel's verse, and a tiny bit of Sjokz's
the dude representing fnatic in the third verse (Vedius) is a huge nerdcore fan himself and he's improved massively since his first attempts at rap back in 2019. Would not be surprised at all to find him lurking in the comments here.
Caedrel (dude in the green with the Excel rebuttal) is not a rapper or singer at all, he usually does commentary for the LEC. For a first timer I think he killed it despite only writing about 20% of his verse
Fun fact, Vedius wrote his verse in 9 hours overnight after the team he was supposed to rap for failed to get into playoffs despite being predicted.

As someone who has been super into league for so long I love seeing league songs within our nerdcore community. Seeing Dan and Rustage on it was so good. Having you react to it is also amazing, even if you "dont know their names". I didnt realise you played league, would be cool to get a league song maybe?
As somebody how doesn't know a lot about rap, is very nice to have somebody who doesn't mince their words too much react to this.
The most hilarious part is that Dan Bull's pentakill line for Rogue.. yeah, that actually happened in the tournament like a week later. They managed a pentakill and ended G2.

To be honest it was quite hard to catch, I got it only after Vedius explained it

For those who don't know, it's a reference from a gameplay of The Last of Us 2, where the youtuber saw a rabbit and said "that's the cutest thing I've ever seen" right before that rabbit was shot in the head with an arrow
And Misfits, an LEC team which have a rabbit as the logo, announced that they are retiring from the competition (thus, the "org is dead" part)

for reference btw the fnatic rap was written in like 2 days cause they didnt even know which team was gonna make it through so take that verse with a grain of salt

Vedius is G.O.A.T.
this is intended to be content for the LEC community foremost so a lot of lines will fly over. Lyric wise for content Dan Bull is for me rock botom under Rustage. Skill wise he murderd everyone. And thats to be expected they are not from the scene but specialize in Rap.
One line I loved from Vedius (winner imo) It's the cutest thing i've ever seen. Arrow through the head, org is dead, c'est la vie.
The first line is a reference to a meme where a girl plays a game and sees a rabbit and says the line, which instantly gets followed by the rabbit getting shot through head by an arrow. This line was towards Misfits. It was known that the e-sports org, would quit the LEC at the end of the split so yeah that org is dead. Their Logo being a rabbit (Rustage wall).
C'est la vie, a dig to the starplayer got voted MVP of the spring split, and is now without a team (for sure someone grabs him up)

I personally think that of course, the casters had weaker technical just rapping than rustage and dan, but they had way better bars in their lyrics.
For example Rustages verse was rapped better than the following Vedius', but Vedius mentioned way more niche topics like Fnatics Pause Hack or his "G2 you're just a name on a list" being a reference to the last rap they did back in 2020
On that side of things I think Rustages verse was better than Dans, mentioning things like Team Destiny (Misfits sold their spot in LEC for 2023 - Destiny left their league after winning worlds, Misfits do the same) and incorporating his players better into the verse (shine bright like **NEON**, call them **IRRELEVANT** - thats how we leaving teams), while Dan mentioned Odo(amne) and Malrang and then just going to general League bars instead of Team specific/LEC ones.
So how good a verse was depends on what you look out for more - the niche memes and jokes only LEC fans get or just being rapped well and having generally comprehensive bars containing LoL

personally I liked Vedius and Drakos part more than Rustages. Dan Bull killed it and Sjokz fire as always. Caedrel of course the weakest but it was his first time ever doing it.
