ABDON: THE JUDGE OF PROSPERITY AND INFLUENCE [JUDGES OF ISRAEL 11/14]

Abdon, son of Hillel, from the town of Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, judged Israel for eight years. Known for his large family of forty sons and thirty grandsons who rode seventy donkeys, his leadership symbolized prosperity and influence.
