Aiyura Valley, Eastern Highlands

This is the beautiful Aiyura Valley, Obura-Wonenara District, Eastern Highlands. This clip was shot on July 11, 2020, at the Aiyura Airstrip, run by Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) and the Government-run Agriculture Station (which houses Coffee Industry Corporation, National Agriculture Research Institute, Fresh Produce Development Agency and National Fisheries Authority. Further down from here are Aiyura National High School and SIL (Little America) at Ukarumpa. Aiyura, despite being in a rural setting, plays an important role for PNG.
