In Australia bank branches close at 4pm most days which disables peoples ability to get to the bank. Then the Banks state that people no longer go into branches thus enabling them to close branches and steer people to use ATMs or Online Banking. My bank has even ceased trading on Saturdays when most people would access the branch.

Then the Banks state that people no longer go into branches thus enabling them to close branches and steer people to use ATMs or Online Banking. My bank has even ceased trading on Saturdays when most people would access the branch.
My bank in Aus won't even accept cash in their branches anymore , soon probably to stop people withdrawing money no doubt.

I am weeping because we had so much potential. My Grandmother's great Grandfather was Benjamin Milam. At the siege of Bexar everyone was quitting when he inspired them much like George Washington. Ben led them and rushed into the city and retook San Antonio leading to Texas to gain independence. I can't imagine how many souls have given their short life here on Earth to fight for a future that was Good. I know there are so many of us that want it so badly. If the politicians wanted to protect people’s rights, they would be passing a constitutional amendment that prevents a CBDC or any digital currency that wasn’t anonymous or private. Private wallets are just as important.

Federal Reserve may soon lose control of interest rates, claims Heresy Financial. This comes as a result of the United States government's intention to embark on a $1 trillion borrowing spree. This might cause the banking sector to lose so much liquidity that rates spiral out of control and are no longer in the control by the federal reserve. I'm sorry to say that despite investing, I lack the mental capacity to evaluate each company's performance and decide whether or not now is a good moment to acquire stocks. My reserve of $650K is being wiped out by inflation and the recession. Sincerely, I have no idea what to do.
My best suggestion? Read James Rickards' books and use his barbell investing strategy - US short term bonds, coupled with inflation hedges as gold and energy (physical not paper gold or oil).

In the UK most banks branches are now closed down completely, the ones that are open are now mainly automated and if you want to withdraw more than £2000 in Barclays they need 24hrs notice…..
