We suffer because this world is fallen and it's ruler is satan. We are under his curse. But we are called to surrender to the Saviour to be saved from the grip of satan. That is why is there so much suffering in this world? Look at our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. He's still there suffering for us. But we can give our suffering to Him so that it's united with His suffering. When uniting with His Passion, we will find out that when we suffer, He suffers. Until the Kingdom of God is here. Then the death, wars, famine and hunger will be gone.
I still don't understand the need for suffering 🤷🏻.... Why MUST we suffer? Why not let us be happy ? ...... Why would our LOVING GOD choose for us to suffer here for 80years instead of allowing us to be happy ????

We are to die to your self. Your flesh wants its way. We are to patiently suffer hardships of this life. Jesus is with us through this life, never leaving us.
@susangoins1221 look I'm in ministry and I know Jesus is with us.... But I go through this life VERY MUCH ALONE. I have had nothing but heartache and tragedy for 13year after coming to Christ. That Bible says there's supposed to be peace that passes all understanding but I have no peace, no comfort, no joy anymore!!! If you heard my testimony you would feel the same way as I do about my life. I'm not a young Christian on milk. I have 2 churches running in Pakistan that God is using to do amazing things. But the devil has constantly attacked me with his entire demonic army. I just want some peace and joy and a good wife to walk next to me. My wife died 12 years ago. Every GOOD pastor has a good wife beside him. I'm tired of doing this all alone (yes I know Jesus is with me)
