for anyone looking at using suiki, his strength isnt cleave. He is an amazing drawn out bruiser-ish unit that can put out lots of dmg and self healing. really nice with molly too
this is a turn 2 cleave though so its a bit different than regular cleave. He still benefits from this type of cleave since enemies and allies can give him 5-10 stacks before he moves. And yes ik im 9 months late lol, just happened to watch this vid again.

Did you just use devilmons or what monsters should I be looking for to power him up. I summoned the fire version of him one time, I think, so one skill was leveled up, but no more luck. Help plz.
@@cdwilliams798 personally the fire one is for fights against monsters that are not HP focused. But the meta now seems to be HP especially with the recent updates. So him on destroy makes easy work of those damn vigors, trianas, and Molly's etc.

Bagel, I spent 200$ summoned 400 scrolls and got nothing. Then 3 weeks later and the SP button is gone, I spend 29 more for the pack before it leaves and I get Shizuka. THE SP BUTTON IS A LIE!
the question mark on the summon circle shows you the chances. with the sp summon if you get a nat 4* there is only an 8% chance it is one of the new monsters. I dont remember what the 5* chance was
In the second battle he did 4.5k to Miho with 6 stacks, and then 5.6k at 25 stacks. So with an extra 190% power, his damage only went up by 1.1k I played around testing mine a bit and I just dont think his passive works correctly as it would be adding about 1400 more power with the extra 19 stacks and only nets you 1.1k damage
@@strangcarman yes, hence my comment about adding around 1400 more attack power. his base is 736, so the 19 stacks it gained between the two attacks was 1398 attack power. With it being guild content his effective attack before any stacks would be about 3308. At 6 stacks it would put it at 3749 for the first attack. With the extra 19 stacks it would have been at 5147. the extra damage based on speed from the artifact throws the damage numbers off a little as he is hitting for more than an extra 100 damage per swing from the speed, and his speed goes up as his hp goes down(but that is minimal impact as it is at most 11%), as well as the randomness of damage in general. he might have just had a high damage roll on the first attack and a low roll on the second attack
he means whenever he hovers over the monster's passive. for example if it's the monster's turn and you wanna check how many stacks they have on them currently.
I was about to build my water onimusha before, but I suddenly got lucky and got the dark one. Both are very fun to use. Awesome review and keep it up Bagel.
someones has tried him in raid (for those like me that don't wanna build bj5 or didn't build it yet) ? i mean we are building him with a lot of resistance and a lot of primary stats , and the 25 stacks should be easy to get in rift raid plus he has a built in vampire set :D

Regarding resistance. It's very likely to have little and less benefit against units like Clara & Galleon since they are generally built with very high accuracy - given that it's a priority that they land their stuff.
Resistance doesn't do much because Clara and such have 85% accuracy. Resistance is important on him, but not vs these kinds of comps. It's to avoid picking up debuffs from mons that are not just one-trick-pony strippers or cc units so can't afford 85 accuracy (Seara bombs, Feng def break, things like that). He is not anything special in the shield/will cleave setup, Kaki is much better for that. He is great in bruiser vs bruiser fights, kinda like fire/wind monkies (try him in rta, he's amazing). In the same vein, he shouls really be on Nemesis, he can heal himself to full hp with s2 if he starts getting focused.
Guys for the ones who doesn't know why suiki is so op and in my opinion better than kaki, his base stats are very very high his attak and specially his defence, put him on hp attk attk and he will do amazingly well, I put him on dispair/revenge he is an stune machine and he revenge on defence break! He awakes on resistance guys, pair him with jeanne with that nice resistance lead. Summary: self sustain, defence break, amazing tank high resistance, become stronger every second until gets to op to be defeated, and crazy rng with dispair/ revenge my stats: health: 1.6k attk 1.6k defence: 1.2k speed +68 got the fattiest runes on him, and only blue grinds and and no skills ups yet!!!
I have him on despair destroy +16k hp 76% res +1450 atk and +87 spd, no skill ups here, but going for a long run battle with atk buff and immunity (using chasun and velajuel right now) plus something as skogul I've been doing pretty well on arena on a lot of defenses that I could never Lushen, with lots of revivers, healers, etc. You can go for a long fight making him more tanky, also go for less dmg received on artifacts. Not only he is good, but also funny to use.
you wanna use suiki with a team with violent runes and use him against a team that is very likelly to have violent runes, when your teammate or enemy violent procs it still counts towards the passive, so it would be a +20% instead of just 10%
Over 100 sp summons all I got was 1 suiki, then got a second suiki from the free scroll from the event. SP button goes away I end up summoning a 3rd suiki as well as the fire and 2 wind ones.
Brand new player (day 8), was wondering if the devilmons were the only way to level up the skills for this dude? I've been grinding on the one board looking for griffins to power up Bernard, (I've done a little research) but I can't find info on what monster I can use to power up Onimusha's skills. Also was wondering if I should use a vampire rune set on him???? Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry this is late. All monsters skills can be leveled up with either devilmons, or buy using monster in same family. I.e. other onimushas. Also since he has vampire essentially built in, and is perfect for drawn out matches, I suggest using violent with either destroy or will as the offset. Also search for artifavts that increase recovery on his skill one and skill two. With that and a violent proc or two, he heals enough not to need vampire. Cheers mate.
i build him tanky and i think it's the better way to rune him (i'm f3 in EU server & rta) vampire will 100%res 200 spd 1k5 def and 28k hp, and he is really good, his passiv only up his base atk (736) so with massiv defense he can full heal on each skill 1, especially in rta with 50% atk buff
skillups are WAY more impactful on those guys. skillup damage is basically added at the same phase of crit damage so your general crit based monster get an additional of ~3% total damage per 10% damage from skillup. on the other hand, those guys get the full amount! 10% extra damage will change it from a 10k to a 11k hit. and a 30% boost from all the skillups of the second skill would take this 15k we see him hit for to a 20k which would 1-shot most monsters(as it hits twice).
@@guguxumusu (ATK * multiplier) * (skillup + CD + 1) is the damage calculation for most skills in the game. for bombs and onimusha the skillup portion is more impactful as it is not competing with the crit damage boost(as it is 0 in non-crits). for crit damage monsters you would generally build with 200% CD(or more) meaning CD value is 2(or more) if you get this +30% skillup boost in a crit monster it'll be the difference between (0.3 + 2 + 1) = 3.3 and (0 + 2 + 1) = 3; a 10% increase from 30% skillup damage boost. in the onimusha's case it's the full 30% (0.3 + 0 + 1 = 1.3) increase which is more significant than a 10% increase IIRC.
I run him if the enemy picks a lot of fire or water units (Cause I pick diana too then). I run will broken spd hp hp with +21k hp, +850 attack, +830 def, and +104 speed. Over the battle he doubles his damage if not triples, and can end up 1v3ing the enemy. He’s really fun
Does 100res even matter? Clara is normally build with 85+ acc. So the chance that you resist even with 100% res is only 15%, because res cannot get lower than 15. So if you encounter Clara you can go full DPS, because u will always have just a 15% chance to resist.
you said he stacks like other bruiser fire mk arta but didn't try bruiser build with vampiric effect on both skills and atk stacking he could be a decent bruiser

What I learned from this is that AtkBuff + DefBreak is still a powerful combo. ;) Jokes aside, his passive seems really underwhelming. So passives like this usually modify base stats... BaseAtk * (Base+WaterTower+AtkTower+AtkFlag) + Runes... so 736*(1+0.21+0.2+0.2) = 1185, Bonus from Runes = 2123. He was at 3307 Attack before stacks... Max Stacks gives another 1840Atk, or a 35% damage increase. After all that he was still only hitting for 4-5k on 1st. Ouch.
i think you only need a lot of turns just before he gets his first turn than its a first turn cleave :D use Vio Runed turn cycler like diana or dice magician with him :D

Oblivion would reset the passive. So no, he no good there. Also do BJ5. Anything else is being lazy.

btw it does show how much stack he has, everytime someone attacks the passive pop up shows how much he has in the stack

Most builds I've seen for him is Despair + Destroy/Will Spd atk atk or spd hp atk or spd hp hp depending on rune quality.
Suiki is even a deccent RTA unit. His place is when the enemy picks too much fire und too little other dmg.

Despair works well on him as well since he has 2hit aoe and multihit s1
multihits don't give a higher chance to proc despair

Fully skilled, he is pretty good. Mine is on despair, I use him in a bruiser team on rta in some situations for counter cleave.

His damage should exceed Kaki's but it just takes a while to get there. He's not really a first turn unit, imo.

It didn't. The counter goes up at the start of a monsters turn. It didn't show the counter when Suiki got a turn.

suiki is the home for my janky fun determination set slot6 is res main but rolled 41atk sub and i can grind it higher
I un summoned my kaki and gave all the skill ups to my suiki after the de buff and it was a decent investment
my water onimusha has maxed skill
i pulled 4 of this guy 0 of the others haha
