Never heard of "Yoni Schlesinger" or "B&G Guitars" before. Great guitarist, beautiful arrangement and heartfelt playing. This video appeared as an ad linked into another video. Usually I skip / ignore ads completely ... This is the best ad ever - it speaks for itself. Neither screaming sellers nor embarrassing self-adulation at all. Just the pure beauty of wonderfully played music within breathing silence. The 2018 golden advertising award goes to .... B&G Guitars
One of my favorite songs from my childhood! I literately started to cry listening to this. I have an Aunt I used to listen to this with who is not doing well and it brought back a lot of memories.

I am sure that Mark Knopfler never imagined that his song could fall into as good hands as yours. As an amateur guitarist, I would settle for holding the guitar as you do because what it is to play it just like I don't think I will achieve in this life. I watch in amazement how 189 dislike it maybe they think they would have done better ... sometimes I don't understand people ... The sound is amazing and give me desire to check your guitars... but it's really the emotions in the play... you really picked an awesome guitarist here to demo your guitars. It's probably one of the best version of Brother in Arms I heard so far.... and generally I don't like covers. I like so much that now I want to find the Tabs to learn it... maybe even on a B&G guitar... so yeah, great Ad; it worked... at least on me!
BTW: I checked your website, and is it possible to get a Little Sister Crossroad in a similar color than this one? (I understand it's different wood, hand work, etc... but what about the color?)
This guitar in the video has a mahogany top with just a hint of amber. So it's the natural color of the wood, and the Crossroads comes only with maple tops. Besides, the Crossroads comes only in Tobacco Burst at the moment :)
Ditto to this sentiment and comment. The only ad I actually watched all the way through and even went to the website to see more....and though I am a musician I am not a guitarist. I have known a few guitar makers over the years and have to say that this mahogany guitar is really special!

You know it's an excellent "Ad" when it gets saved in someones favorite TH-cam playlist! Brothers in Arms is one of my anthems and this hit me completely out of left-field! I was hooked by the first few notes of and then properly floored by this version. And that Little Sister sounds as good as it looks! Beautiful!!! Well done, B&G!!!

I very rarely feel the need to download the audio of a youtube clip, for obvious quality reasons. This is the second time with this guy. As someone else already noticed, this is a work of art.
I just love the way Yoni paces through, un-rushing, slow and mellow as the song itself. The peace that you see in his face just pours through the guitar itself.

I was simply and literally awestruck by this commercial. Dire Straights is one of my favorite bands and Brothers in Arms is probably my favorite song. I have it on vinyl. I am a violinist and acoustic guitar player for a couple years. I just bought my first electric from B&G after hearing this and doing a little research. I'm currently learning the tabs to this to while away the wait.
The ONLY time I have watched an advert on YT and then sought out the original upload. Amazing tone and playing. Incredibly sensitive. I usually totally ignore YT ads or click them shut as soon as I can, but this was my only exception.
It’s been said by others. 1st ad I watched fully, searched again afterwards, love the B&G natural mahogany guitar, fantastic rendition! Great motivation for how a guitar can be played, and sound (doesn’t hurt that it’s a great song too).
