Hey guys, today I will be showing you how to change the air filter on your Yamaha FZ6. I titled how to change it but I will only be cleaning mine since I have a K&N filter.
Motocyklowa TV I left the bolt in place which he removed. The tank pivots up nicely with it in place. I did air filter with 3 bars of fuel in the tank- I did loosen it though so it could pivot . I also removed the battery leads so nothing could short or spark while doing the job.
Billy Howard this looks like an 04-09 but an air box is an air box, it has an air filter in it just like any other and I doubt much is different. You just have a newer model, unless you have a fz6r you should be good 🤙🏻
Honestly, this saves my ass from taking off the fairings everytime i need to lift the tank. How was i so dumb to not figure this out on my own 😂

What year is your bike? I have a 2012 and was wondering if you follow the same procedure to change the filter.

You cleaned it properly but it won't be filtering properly any more because you didn't recharge it with KnN oil which is what traps the particles.
