For years, Nobody uploaded episodes of Pipkins on TH-cam
aside from clips of this episode
So, As a pretty belated christmas gift - I give y'all the infamous Pipkins episode, "The Glove Puppet"
How can a 53 year old man be instantly transform into 5 year old kid?.. simply Enchanting 🥰🥰
It was a horror show.
You would never get away with it now. I used to watch it for ideas on being bad! Im 56 and still remember it fondly.
Born at the beggining of 1970. Pipkins was well remembered ecellent British humour.

It a stuffed hare jerking off with a Mr Bean doll.
Seriously?
Scary as hell Hartley was as a kid, never forgotten even at 55.
he was one creepy looking creature : )
He was alright
Zombie hare 😂
I feel you!!! I can never forget this program lol
One of my favourites as a child. HARTLEY HARE LEGEND. Thanks for sharing. 👍 👍
I saw these air! Can't remember what time of day. But if you had a day off school, you ended up watching anything on the 3 channels on offer so it was usually this and at lunchtime Crown Court. Maybe the Cedar Tree and then towards teatime Clapperboard and Whodunnit? Eitherway, they set out to mess us up in the 70s. It worked! Heaven help anyone who watched TV after match of the day on Saturday night. 70s horror wet millions of beds!
Soooo true haha
What were those things? I wasn't born in the 70s, nor am I British
Or you would watch this if you were ill in bed , being given lucazaide. Yuk.
This feels like a parody of a kids show I can't stop laughing😂
Hartley Hare…well well well.
It’s 2024 and still like to see the programmes of “our time” 👍👍
A fantastic programme when I was a kid. I still talk about hartley till today
Oh my! What memories. Used to adore Pipkins, well, still do. Hartley makes me think of Larry Grayson! Thanks, James Fox, for the upload. You've made my day!
you can thank blameitonjorge for inspiring me to do this as he brought this episode up
Thank you both...
Thank you so much. Loved it as a kid
Recently watched as watched as a child. Love Hartley hare so funny! Was in stitches. My partner does a brilliant impression of him. Looking forward to watching other episodes! 😊
Thought tortoise was going to take off for a second there! How did I not have nightmares after watching this when i was kid. Pipkins rocks and I'm 55 now
Funny thing, I was talking about Pipkins to a friend of mine ... especially Hartley Hare! I used to watch this programme when I was a kid. Great stuff.
I used to love this too
I adored this as a kid.
you can be _naughty_ with a glove puppet
*yes*
You can shove your finger up it
*Indeed*
😂😂😂
Excellent. Reminds me of the Rainbow 'Twangers' episode. Just teetering on the edge of filth. Brilliant.
Who else thought this was actually entertaining
It's genuinely really good, one of my favourite shows of all time
I did
I think its the most genuine stuff I've ever seen.
Yes yes...yes! I can remember excitingly telling my Brother about This...i was 3..he was 6...ha ha! Fond memories
I came home from school at lunchtime just to watch this
"Everybody is naughty sometime or another."
*69 intensifies*
So many years since I saw an episode of Pipkins. Don't remember "Moony", he's cool!
Rob the Animator badgers rock!
They do indeed! ;-)
Loved this show. Hardly ever missed it .But i couldn't remember mooney either.
See, it wasn't ME being naughty when I was little, it was Hartley!!
Fucking hell....I dont remember it like this!!
how we used to live. Looks slightly scary nowadays to be honest!

Hartley was a vicious old queen
I want to see an even creepier puppet on Michael's hand.
Hartley looks like he suffered from myxomatosis....
I was gonna make a comment about how unintentionally sexual Hartley sounded when talking about being naughty, but instead I'm point out that if you put captions on at 8:23-8:31 it says "holy bitch you've eaten it Allegiant eat I've never eaten a soilder at midnight me boy did you take it big big" XD
This would scare kids to death today.
Better than anything on today. Charm personified. On par with the clangers
Mooney the badger is adorable to be honest, I wanna give him a hug:3
Nice to see the pig had upgraded ears... from Quavers Crisps to Giraffe skin. Oh to be a child in the late 70s, early 80s (lol)
Hartley hare is a glove puppet
An advanced glove puppet holding a Punch & Judy-Esque Glove Puppet
"Apart from being men in the army"
One of those 'had to be there' things
Man looks like hartly can be reeeal naughty with that glove puppet ~~
Absolutely hilarious.
blameitonJorge brought me here
Mooney,the Irish badger.Well that's a new one on me!!
My kids love this show fookin classic they laugh there heads off
Pipkins are cute :D
Hartley dosent want any discipline he wants do what he likes
Johnny (Wayne Laryea) was a nice guy.
Something about the nylon fabric of the pig puppet makes it almost as creepy as the stuffed bunny corpse.
I see now where Peter Jackson got the idea for "Meet the Feebles."
He’s called MiChEaL after our director
You worked there?
He's quite posh Hartley Hare... Really takes me back...
06:07
A stuffed rabbit jerking off with a Mr. Bean's doll.
What ever happened to Wayne Laryea ? He just disappeared off our tv screens never to be seen again.
A cautionary tale. Perhaps if we were to thrust a hand into Michael, we, like Hartley, might begin to 'feel naughty'...
Heartley ('Heart-Ley) discovers an ancient technology for externalising his Id and inevitably, chaos reigns.... Most dangerously when the the (capitalist) Pig is prevented from devouring 'the soldiers' to satisfy his unquenchable gluttony. After a disastrous show of force by the pig's 'super Ego'; order is restored. The Deus ex Machina, 'Johnny' conspires with the Badger (a creature whose black and white world view has been externalised) in an elaborate, nocturnal psycho-drama to 'gaslight' the Hare back into conformity. The twist comes when the 'Deus ex Machina', whose function is to rule over the Pipkins microcosm, is discovered to be a Voodoo priest who then initiates the impressionable viewer to the secret of 'glove puppet spell'.
I grew up with this stuff.... Perhaps this is the reason my generation became responsible for the anodyne rush 'back into the closet, of 50's patriarchy that is Pepper Pig. All this mystical, 70's Aquarian stuff was probably just WAY too soon.
I was just having a naughty day!
The ATV logo reminds me of The Muppet Show.
This is actually cute tbh
That shit got very very very CONTAGIOUS!!!!!
There's this show on the BBC called Monty & Co, and some of the voices for the characters in the show sound like pipkins
There should be a YTP about this.
I've been waiting for this! Mwahhahahahahaha
I just watched this wondering what it was after I found out my great grandad was in this(his name was George woodbridge
Levi Woodbridge he played Inigo Pipkin the puppet maker!
Cool
5:10 That angry pig.
It's taken me 40 years to notice that Harley talks and sings like Nellie Wallace lol...
“Rrrrrrrrrubish” 😂😂😂😂😂
The pig with its Birmingham accent sounds like current Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley - Jess Phillips. Don’t you think?
Pardon me?
I was rather naughty that day.....do do do di di doo...
It's a glove puppet....hmmm!
Wayne Laryea pled Harmony in the US kid's show during the early 70s the Bugaboos.
Who came here by DrossRotzank?

The author of this Spanish video (I came here by it and him. Hartley Hare was in that video as a top mention): th-cam.com/video/MTBRC2hkYoo/w-d-xo.html

Like I thought this was a new version of Winnie the Pooh but there's just no Christopher Robin in it instead there's different animals and different human person that supposed to be Christopher Robin's friend

Really?!
Terrified me this show did
I can see why.....it’s the stuff nightmares are made of.
And pipkins is back in the form of Monty and co. Hartley hare in the modern form is Monty.
This is beyond creepy as fuck.
Well I came here from 'gimme dat ding'... thought it would be a Video for any Song :D it wasn't, but it's nice, too :D

Hartley hare is a clove puppet
Hartley is frightening to look at, but I used to like him best, but I hated pig, and wasn't a fan of topov, but I liked the tortoise. I think I identified with hartley.
