If it doesn’t work in the first place then don’t completely change it into something players don’t like.

I agree. I’ve lived in China and Chinese people care a lot about the cats. They always leave food outside for stray cats. And they also do some propaganda for neutering the stray cats, so no more of little fellows suffer outside, especially in winters. And it wasn’t necessary on the first place. Only for comedy effect.

Personally I like the cats without. I'm a cat freak so when I first saw them I was disappointed they showed that cause I knew it would make me not want to use them. But I feel that may be why they were changed is because not many people would try to get them if they kept it. (Like when they brought the arm pose to our server that had a dog shaped purse with an x on it for a butt, many complained cause they didn't like that you had to work to hide that) Its just not something many people globally like, I feel that's a more local taste.

However, it is believed that some ppl think it is unaffordable to buy this suit actually report it, saying that it has sexual suggestiveness(actually the majority of ppl playing MN are middle school students or even pupils, they are financially unaffordable). It quickly draws the attention of the censors and they believe the element of sexual suggestiveness is not a good thing for teenagers that are playing this game. As a result, Miracle Nikki has to change this suit, they post a Weibo content saying 'according to the requirement of the relevant department we have already modify the suit in-game. There are thousands of people who post replies to against this change. Also, the Chinese version of Reddit was messed up about this change, with lots of ppl think the changed version of the outfit is not well-modified and lots of iOS players choose to apply for a refund. P.s. I believe these blood elements being censored is because of the huge amount of players in CN servers are teenagers so the government have to regulate the game content. In Chinese traditional way of thinking both of the blood spatter and the tattoo is considered as having implication of violence which is not good for teenagers
Just so you know, Flickering Pistil is also censored on chinese server. Originally it wasn’t, but after a while they censored it and deleted the original uncensored files from the game.

I’m soooo late to this but I just wanted to point out that In hellish bloom they have also censored all the skulls and bones at the bottom of the robe because skeletons are also considered taboo in China! I’ve definitely seen other suits with skulls in LN as well, I’d be curious to know what they look like in MN
Love nikki did make flickering pistil more versatile tho. The dress can be used on its own, even without the wings. And then there's the accessory blood star track. It's like the blood the uncensored has, but for an unposed model. And you still get the cage.
