And their literature is interesting and worthwhile - it's just different from ours; it just looks different because it's from hundreds of years ago.
In this lesson, we'll introduce you to Age of Chaucer & peep inside the life of the medieval writer Geoffrey Chaucer. We'll not only take a look at his life, but will also look at his most famous works, including 'The Canterbury Tales'.

The renowned “Peasant's Revolt"(1381) was led by the important personality Wat Tyler who was protesting against the third pole tax imposed by the nobles and the ruling government to recover their 100yr.war expenditure. Unfortunately the leader Wat Tyler too was killed and decipitated at the Southwerk bridge of London. 👍
