You know, St John's is such an amazingly balanced school. I think its an amazing place to start a career =) alot of opportunities and benefits if you are starting there with your Bachelors.
Ahh, I too love taking early morning walks there when there's no one else out and about. I love the campus in spring. So beautiful. Also, what's the music track?
the only complaint i have personally about the dorms themselves is that Donovan Hall is like a state schools dorms, small crowded, but they are new in Donovan. As far as the housing complaints yes there were housing complaints but only based on your GPA if your grades are good you dont need to worry. The sophomores who had housing problems are most likely under a 3.0 because everyone i know had a 3.5+ had no issue with applying for housing.
theres alot of ppl in the sports management program you can easily find information if you come by and ask around, or go to a st johns game and ask some students, or staff about it
It depends on what you want to study, pharmacy is very competitive but everything else is moderate. I suggest apply and see how much in academic scholarship you are awarded combined with your federal aid if you get any and see if you can fill the gap with loans.
For incoming freshman concerned with housing just be sure to get your papers and deposit in long before the due date so you can be sure you have a place to stay.
Just got accepted to here with an 80,000 shcolarship ( YAY! :D) still not sure if I will go here but the campus looks veryyyy beautiful. A few questions though. How religious is everyone? Does the student body take school seriously?
Hey dude, great vid. I just applied here and sent off my letters of recommendation. I was wondering if you could tell me how hard is it to get in? My GPA and ACT score wasnt the best, not that im dumb, I just sort of fell off! I applied for the Psychology program. With a not so great GPA and an ok or normal ACT score, what do you think my chances of getting in would be? Im not too worried about the Merit Aid, I know with a low GPA I wouldnt get much. thanks. . .
the biggest piece of advice when picking a school is know what your going to study, unless your getting a full ride here go to a community college to knock out your core classes, programs that are prestigious are the pharmacy PA prelaw/grad law and buisness.
yes the pharmacy program is impressive and very prestigious, my roommates are both 3rd year pharmacy and in the pharmacy fraternity, one being the president. Come down and take a look its a really beautiful campus
Dasilva is "dirty", but the people are usually chill. Hollis is the turn up but its like the projects..but essentially they're built the same. Dasilva has two bathrooms on each side, Hollis the rooms are connected by a bathroom. I would pick Dasilva
hey is it true that the dorms are horrible? ive heard really bad things about the dorms, like sophomores getting kicked out of their dorms, you dont get the requested housing and all that. I am trying to get in SJU so i really want to know more about it.
im not sure if you want to look into here, if your scores arnt so high you won't receive too much academic scholarship money and that helps ALOT because if you want to live here plus tutition your bill is like 40k =/
Aww.. St. John's Queens Campus is beautiful. I truly wish I dormed..
I just got accepted here yesterday! Fall 2014!
this was nicely done :]
Always hated those SJU barricades.....meant no parking in the good spots:/
