MOSCOW RED SQUARE

There is a photograph with a view of it in every family photo album. Interestingly, the main square of Russia did not always look like this. For a long time there were shopping arcades on it, and it itself was called Pozhar. Then the undeveloped part of the square began to be called Red (that is, beautiful), and then this name was transferred to the entire square. The unique architectural ensemble of the square with the Spasskaya Tower, the Historical Museum, and St. Basil's Cathedral is included in the World Heritage List. Now Red Square is the most visited place by tourists in Moscow. Festivals and Victory parades are held here, skating rinks are filled in in winter, and it is also sometimes closed. People go to Red Square to feel the heartbeat of Moscow and feel like a participant in all the historical events that once took place here.
