    Just swinging it doesn't make it swing. Because it is a delicate and technical badminton, it is important to learn it step by step according to the progress. Let's learn about the 3 steps to learning to swing!
    Why you need to lower your batting point in the 00:00 smash
    03:44 Hit point and swing speed
    05:13 Is it a racquet swing or a shoulder swing?

    Hi coach, I'm a new coach from Peru 🇵🇪 and I fascinated how simple is your explanation, it is helping me a lot. I'm a physical education teacher in a national primary school and also teaching badminton. Best regards

      Nice to meet you! Teaching your kids badminton... that's great. Children automatically find good posture. Watching it is an amazing experience.
      If I have a chance someday, I would like to visit your school. It won't be a problem even if you don't speak. :-)

    aloha coach han, another awesome lesson. proper technique is the key to preventing injury. bravo for your emphasis on this commonly overlooked aspect of the overhead swing. take care.

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Professional players' lives are short. They have to get results in a short period of time and are not afraid of injuries. They won't give up the gold medal in front of them, even if they have a sore spot.
      However, the ideal posture and technique for amateurs are different from those of professionals. If you admit that fact and find the fun that suits you, you will become a better badminton player.

      No one can grow all at once. Take your time and do it slowly. If you do that, you will be able to see yourself better before you know it. Don't compare yourself with others, just become a better you than you were yesterday.

    I already can do full swing on Lob, smash can wait until it's lowered down then hit. It's just on smashing hard to maintain consistency.
    Overhead still not consistent, but block net is sharp down..

    Hi Coach, I am a mid-beginner. I will like to understand when u single out the "Pull" during a hit, do you mean a pronation ending where you "cover" the shuttle quickly? Hope you get my question.

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The word pull means to send the racquet head forward. It is done with the strength of the fingers holding the grip.

    Thank you for the tips! Should a player directly learn the advanced smash or start with the first 2 levels? Thank you!

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you could skip the steps from the beginning, you wouldn't have to break them down.
      Every sport starts with having fun. Watch the video and don't try to build a foundation from zero base. Have fun as much as you can, and if you want to improve, then self-diagnose yourself.
      it's not study it's play
      After all, if I only give you basic training, you're not going to do it, do you? :-)

    • @full-swing

      Don't think of clear, smash, and drop shots as different swings. They all happen on the same overhead swing. Don't even think about learning them separately.

    볼 속도에 라켓 속도를 맞추신다는 의미가..
    공이 오는 속도에 맞게 라켓을 휘둘러야 한다는 의미가 맞을까요...?
    참 깊은 영상이네요..

      보통, 셔틀콕이 멈춰있는 것으로 가정하고 스윙하기 쉽습니다. 하지만 스윙이 나가는 순간에도 셔틀콕은 움직이고 있습니다. 스매시가 내게 오든, 클리어가 하늘에서 떨어지든 말이죠. 셔틀콕이 움직이는 속도에 맞추려면 내 스윙이 순간적으로 발동되는 게 아니라 천천히 나아가다가 가까워 질수록 가속을 더해야 합니다.

      @@full-swing 콕이 어디서 어떻게 와서 언제 맞는지 확실히 터득하는것 부터가 시작이라는 말씀이시군요..
      역시 주구장창 게임만 쳐서는 안되겠군요 ㅠㅠ

    스매싱할 때 덮어버린다는 말 공감합니다. 그런데 스탭이 살짝 늦어 공이 머리보다 앞이 아닌 머리 위쯤에 있을때는 어떻게 하나요?

      very nice~ It is good to understand theoretically, but the best way to learn is to learn visually. You will improve your skills by frequently comparing yourself to your figure and correcting your posture.
