The 2290 was unobtanium, until this little thing came along. Glad i bought it. And thnx for making such an informative video, the same methodology for delays settings can be applied to kemper and fractal as well.
Great video nice explanation. I just bought the flashback 2 stereo and hall of fame 2 stereo version I'm really excited to dig in an customize my own toneprints. Great Job😎
This is a great video! I really appreciate that you did this. I have a Hall of Fame 2 reverb pedal, but I have never used the toneprint software before. I had no idea you could do so much with it. For a while I’ve been thinking of getting a flashback 2 pedal, and now you’ve convinced me. So much you can do with this.
Already learned two important things that weren't necessarily featured in this video: one is judging from the interface, it looks like this pedal will do about three seconds of delay (which spec I didn't even find on TC's website), and two, it will do two (2) simultaneous delays, which makes it a dual delay. Compare the competition on dual delays, and the value of the TC becomes shockingly good. The larger versions of the mini series (including the reverb) are stereo in and out, with additional functionality, and I believe they could be considered direct replacements to the much larger stereo rack units we bought back in the 80's and 90's. Cheers~
I have a few hand-picked pedals.. MXR Carbon Copy that has modulation. Walrus Audio Fathom reverb, KHDK Ghould Screamer, (really versatile) as well as a Maxon 808x which is like a razorblade. An Electro Harmonix silencer gate and finally, Vox wah and Boss eq.. got frustrated with cables and bought an HX Effects, but sometimes I get tired of software and just want to go back to old school.
Good hearing from you Dean. I hear ya, it's nice to have the best of both worlds. I've had the helix for several years now no and have used it for most of my effects for that whole time. it's just fun to get back into pedals and explore things that I haven't had I haven't had a chance to explore in a long time
Brilliant software for that pedal..! Wow....thanks a million for sharing the programmable versatility. Had no idea...besides using the dial in knobs on it. Gots to get me one of those...!!🎸. Sounds killer Jarrod. Brutal awesome Tones for our kind of metal. Love it!! 😁
The flashback has been a go to for a long time and for good reason. Sounds great, flexible, and the price. Love that pedal. I am on my second one, worn my first one out. The sentry gate has a similar option. You can use a app on your phone. Choose one that someone setup that plays a high gain amp. Put the speaker of your phone on your pickup, and it sends a sound wave from your pickup to the pedal. Then your gate is set to the setting some one made. Or you can make one yourself. It's pretty cool. I am looking forward to the bucket brigade analog delay pedal I ordered from them. They make great pedals.
Thanks for commenting. It's amazing how you think you just bought a delay pedal when you get one of these. And then you click on the software and realize you've bought so much more
Cool vid man. I just sold my V1 and picked up this V2 which is kinda old but new to me. Anyway, I've never gone into the edit software but will give it a go. Question about the physical knob settings. Where do you have them @? All at noon?
Can u adjust the amount of effect while intensively plying in DYNAMIC mode?? Or it always completely mutes the effect while playing?? Is there a fukn blend setting for that??Thnxx brother ❤
I can’t really hear what you’re doing with all that massive distortion. Doesn’t help that you CALL it crunch 😉 It’s still over the top distortion. Also your guitar sounds totally strange. The attack is missing completely(??). And it’s also chopped off at the end. Wtf is that? A reverse kill switch or something?
Holy cow the versatility of this pedal is unreal!
Awesome video! 🤙
Thanks Jarrod....Great informative video, nicely done!
Thanks for your review! It sold me on this pedal!🎸
My pleasure! Its a very versatile pedal.

Thank you. Congratulations on the Flashback pedal. You're gonna love it

Thank you. Yeah I'm still blown away with how much you can do with this pedal.
It's worth every penny

Can u do the modulation minus the delay
Yes you can....how cool is that?
I'm totally stealing those lead delay settings lol
Haha those settings sound so good!
same here~
Do you have a reverb always on here? Or is it just only the flashback2
It's just the Flashback 2
