Elle arrive quand même à tenir un public durant trois minutes avec ce seul refrain "hine ma tov uma nayim" et se fait appplaudir à tout rompre, respect Dali! She still manages to hold a public for three minutes with this single chorus "hine my tov uma nayim" and is applauded to break, respect Dali!

Not a folk song, actually. Its lyrics are the beginning of Psalm 133, which reads, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!".
Which does not prevent this song to be a great song ;-)
    Thanks for uploading it.

To understand this better you need to understand that "Mi" and "Mah" are entities and not Who and What. This is where the kabbastic question "WHO was with me in the beginning ?" is actually a statement THAT "Mi (who) WAS with me in the beginning - eg: John was with me in the beginning."
Which is very interesting because the LOST BOOK OF ENKI also talks about the "Mi" being used for the creation of man.

Behold, MAH is good [tov], sitting (feminine) brothers (plural) also (GAM) as one (Yachid is unity - yacHAD also contains the allusion to Yod and ACHAD as in Yod for the value of 10 as in the 10 sephirot and ACHAD as in the number 1 - so this may also infer the word "Unified Harmony")

She was Jewish! Obviously she spoke Hebrew, she is a Mizrahi Jew. Like millions of others from Arabic countries, they all had either french or italian citizenships and then in the 60s due to a huge rise in antisemitism and orders to leave the countries, such as Iraq, Yemen, Egypt they escaped either to Israel or to Europe, mostly France.

She was from Italian decent. Her grandparents had moved to Egypt for economic reasons. They came from a tiny place in Italy and of course the whole family was catholic. But spending most of her life in a secular country - i.e. France - as she grew older and with the study of Freud, religion became relegated to a secondary consideration.

You know nothing about her life, which is sad, because you have the internet at your fingertips. Another example of how nationalism, ANY nationalism, makes people crazy. She's an Italian, born to Italian parents in Egypt. And you are either trolling, or crazy.

She was Roman Catholic. Her real full name is Yolanda Christina Giglioni (rip) she killed herself because she was afraid to grow old. She learned Hebrew, she even know how to write it, in the Jewish schools of Cairo; which back then were among the best in the world.

Yes, she was born in Egypt and had sung some of her very best songs in Arabic for the Egyptians and one movie which is also one of the Egyptian legacy.
She didn't sing for Israel but sang the national Hebrew songs as she did in Lebanon, Egypt and Italy plus some German songs too. She was a legend and the literal meaning of legendary. A soul that left the world too soon cause she didn't stand the horrible sadness that exists. Note (I'm Egyptian)
