VAs have a lot of range. I personally liked how he voiced Miyuki, Giyuu and Sasori 😍
He literally sounds the same in every role aside from talking a bit deeper or higher. It's the same voice.
He is also voicing geto suguru jujutsu kaisen

I actually imagined his voice as Aki while reading CSM. I'm so happy that he has been considered as Aki.
Me too... I really wanted it to be him. However, Shogo Sakata who is actually voicing Aki has a very similar voice! There's a slight raspiness they both have.
i was really looking forward to him being aki i think he has the perfect voice not too deep and not too high and breathy but they picked rookies :((( congrats to the rookies tho

My #1 most favorite Seiyuu of all time. Never have I ever heard such a cool and badass sounding voice. He voices my favorite anime character of all time from my favorite anime of all time, Kazami Yuuji from The Grisaia Series. Super underrated and it’s not even listed here in this video. I’ve watched so many of his roles (Giyuu Tomioka from Demon Slayer, Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy, Isshiki-senpai from Food Wars, Shin from Unbreakable Machine Doll, Neeba from Tower of Druaga, Villar from Record of Grancrest War, Shirokuma from Shirokuma Cafe, and many many others). I can recognize his voice instantly and it immediately makes me love the anime all the much more.
I fall in love with his voice in Wolf Girl and Black Prince at first as Shoto. Then i rarely watched anime untill KNY become popular, i give it a chance and from 1st episode when Giyu is angry, im fall in love again with the same voice not realize it is a same person. Now, i starting back to watch anime and currently in love with osomatsu.
If your enjoying Osomatsu, I highly recommend A Destructive God Sits Next to Me. Your going to love his voice there. 💓💓

Takahiro Sakurai is not voicing Aki in the end! It's a newer VA called Shogo Sakata. He actually does sound a lot like Takahiro Sakurai, though.

@@NighTMare-gv8gz i believe the scandal news has wane a bit, heck he still reprises most of his roles for example Geto Suguru in JJK2 and Albert in Saint is Omnipotent.
It may be difficult for him to get new roles though, but I doubt people will cancel his name for the roles he already voicing. Imagine him not voicing Giyu Tomioka, that will be a fucking sin. Hell no.
@@M.L1890 Yeah, I never said he’s not gonna reprise his older roles, I was just saying him getting new roles like Hikaru is probably not gonna happen. I think he’s gonna be like Tashuhisa Suzuki, who was basically cancelled after he cheated on Lisa.

You only forgot to add his most iconic role which is Cloud from Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII.
They are videogame characters. If they included Cloud, they would need to include Lucifer from GBF and maybe his Chinese donghua dub role like Lu Guang too.

Imagine comparing one of the most iconic video game character in gaming history named Cloud to some GBF character that has a small fanbase in Japan and probably not even known overseas along with some Chinese character. They are not on Cloud's level in terms of popularity nor are icons. Those characters do not "need" to be added because of said facts.
@@rob19ny It's still a good demonstration of his vocal ability. Why are you so pressed about mentioning a smaller role alongside a large one? There were plenty of roles the OP included that I didn't recognize. Including more videogame roles, regardless of the popularity is a good thing. Also, GBF is one of the most popular gacha games in Japan. Inclduing Chinese dub roles is also good because it show's Sakurai's versatility as a voice actor who can do dubbing as well as play foreign characters. Your post is pretty narrowminded in my opinion.

Bad news for him, he was reported for cheating on his wife and mostly getting replaced on his anime role voice actor. Really good voice actor of him unfortunately he is getting replaced.
Him, Todoroki Shoto's, Bakugo's, Kuroo's (Haikyuu), Zenitsu's are my favorite seiyuu. they always have this distinct voice that you know who's their character in other animes
