Second♥ is the second studio album and first full-length album released by Midori. The album was released in two editions: a CD edition and a vinyl record edition released through CIACADA PEAKS records. This is the band's second and last indie release as they signed with Sony Music Associated Records later in the year and released their third album, Shimizu in November. The album reached #98 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of five weeks.

when the music is so metal your piano sounds just as heavy as your guitar and drums
It's like the piano is the lead guitar and mariko is playing rythm guitar

Discovering this band in my twenties feels like reviving a youth I've never had. They're amazing!
It's so crazy to me how such amazing music can fade from the public eye so easily. Thankfully we have the internet so they dont fade from history either, I love this discovery and want to learn more about this band
I love midori..they don’t have many EPS or albums because they disbanded in 2010 but if you’d like more music like this I’d recommend 385 although midori is better it’s about the closest you could get
They’re back and they go by THE MUSMUS now I’m pretty sure

I've listened to this album so much since finding this band. This album is the perfect balance of chaos and melody for me. I love all their work but I keep coming back to this!

i have this album and it has a 10th track on it which is a 10 minute improvisation turning slowly into sometzing really powerful and amazing. Never found it in these lists

Im not sure its on this album afterall im afraid, sorry to have riled everyone up a year ago, i just casually commented without even realizing it might be the wrong album. Ill look into it in the afternoon but i think its still not listed on yt, im sure you know the song though, i only ever heard one long track of them just improvising shit and just screaming at the end. It is amazing though

I think Shingo Harada was still the bassist on this album, there are a few videos floating around with performances in 2007 (songs from this album) where Harada is on stage with them. Plus, he has a different style of playing than Keigo Iwami - and the playing on this album is more like Harada's. Just a friendly fyi. :)

Harada is listed as a "guest" bassist on this album, according to the CD credits.
Which makes me wonder why he wasn't a permanent member and Iwami officially joined the band later. (Iwami is still performing in Tokyo with various jazz groups)

honestly I just don't care for the keyboard on most of the songs. like if it wasn't there on most of these songs I feel like I would be able to like this stuff alot more
