Man my fz1 09 owned it for oh idk 5 years and know how to ride It well got on a mt09 2020 and felt like a new rider lol everything is completely different feeling and the breaks are way super touchy
What a great video. I'm upgrading from a cb300f so watching this video helped a lot. Figure 8s and emergency braking is vital for your new bike. I can't wait to see whats next!! I love the black 2024 mt09.
Moto Control has great videos. Have your brother push you around a parking lot until you can pull in the clutch, hit the kill switch and use the front brake to bring you to a stop. Most new riders have at least one whiskey throttle experience. When you do start the engine make sure you have at least 100 feet in front of you that doesn't require a turn.
My 2022 MT-09 has the same turning radius full lock as my 2018 Goldwing. I always expect the smaller, lighter MT to turn tight. But nope,,, it's like my Lux Touring Bike... LMAO
In real world youll be hoing faster thann 18 so i practice e stops going like 40ish alot of tire slide but u learnvto ride it and feel when it starts going sideways just release ezpz
dude if you really want to learn how to ride a bigger bike better go and do an Advanced coarse. i am an ex advanced instructor in the uk and they are worth there weight in gold
Th fact that in America you don't have displacement restriction for the beginners is crazy!!! You literally can be a beginner and have 100 horsepower bike. You guys are so lucky.
Yeah that's freedom baby, tho I personally feel aa tho most ppl who never ridden before shd start on a 250 and then can go to 1000 like I did. A big reason we DONT have restrictions is most ppl who got legal were riding before hand on dirt bikes so realistically they can handle some power I never did but it does make sense and I believe the restrictions is against your right to do as you please u shd be able to drive wtf u want as long as u know the basics
Great vid! I just picked up an R1250R after not riding for almost 10 years. Motojitsu is a good resource for beginner and pro tips.
Yes he has a great channel!
Cool bike! I like the example you’re seeing by demonstrating the need for practice. Stay are out there!
That Yamaha triple is such a great motor. You will love it!
A little rear brake helps too
Great tip!

In the the Netherlands these manoeuvres are mandatory on the exam to get your license.
Most states require the passing of the Motorcycle Safety Course. Figure 8 isn't a part of that course, but many other maneuvers are.
I’m looking forward to more motorcycle videos. I’ll be taking lessons this August with my sister.
Nice looking bike.....I ride 2 honda,s,,,,vtx 1300 and vtx1800. These 2 bikes are completely different
My brother wants me to learn to ride so I can ride with him. How about more motorcycle instruction vids?

It's easy man just don't get a big bike get a starter bike off Facebook then sell it
Do a stoppie😉!
Maybe on the Grom 😜
I wonder if this adjustable clutch lever will fit on mt07.
I have no idea but you can surely get aftermarket ones
Aftermarket ones are way better u can adjust it to where u normally grab it at

Thanks mate!
Love the turquoise wheels! Is the seat comfortable? The cushion looks a little thin?
Not the most comfy. I need more time in the saddle to give a better opinion

Yeah it's pretty amazing!
