- My Chinese banyan clump style bonsai from cutting is progressing nicely. In this video I shared some routine work on it and some important information about Ficus microcarpa, like how to care, how to fertilise, how to train, how to prune, how to water etc.
As usual this will be helpful video tutorial for the beginners.
I always try to make easy the way of making bonsai for all. this is only a journey of two years to make a clump style bonsai like this.

thank you for explaining each cut and why it should be cut and where, some tutorial just tell you to cut those you dont like then they just do their thing and not really that educational for someone with no experience yet or have little knowledge about the art of pruning. For me your videos are the best to learn from so far.

Grafting se achchha bonsai nehi banta. Do per ko jor ke bonsai jo banta hai use fusion kahta hai. Clump bhi kahata hai.

In your previous video, you mentioned about liquid fertilizer. would you tell us about it. How do we make liquid fertilizer and use it on the tree?
Use NPK 2grm. per liter of water. and spray it once in every 15 days.
Thanks a lot for sharing valuable information. Can you tell me how many months we should wait after wiring the bonsai. What is the desired result we are looking for before cutting off the wire.
For tropical and deciduous trees maximum 3 months, and for conifers 6 months.

let the plant grow, water less and keep under full sun. apply compost or NPK for better result.

Sirji, you are using one black colored branch cutter for cutting the branches in a definite angel ( as you desire) , you are holding it horizontally but the cut is made from the bottom in a definite angel. May I know what is the name of this cutter and form where I can purchase this and what about the pricing.

My plant has shed all the leaves and i fear it may be dying. it was well until i decided to give it some sunlight. How to recover from this.?? During winter what sort of care need to be taken. ?? i have regular ficus also. i water it after 2 or 3 days but with Chinese ficus i guess it can be a big issue?
Priyank it's a very important question. Ficus loves moisture. water it properly first. While place a plant under sun after a long stay in interior, you have to make this process lengthy and slow. Suddenly full Sun is very difficult for a indoor plant to adjust. Don't worry, it'll recover again. Keep your plant under partly shaded area and then gradually to full Sun. And water it more when under Sun.

When ever I have planted a cutting, it has never grown,can you guide how to propegate it's cuttings, I have three Ficus plants,8/10 months old

Welcome, just take a cutting and put it in preshoked soil, keep under shade, water before the soil dried,

There is so many names, actually it is from Ficus microcarpa family.

Some call it Ficus Green island too. but these are not official names. This is Chinese banyan, Malayan banyan, Indian laurel, curtain fig... officially.

Hi,I reported my twin trunk Panda Ficus 20 days ago ,one trunk has shed all leaves other trunk has leaves also new are coming.
The branches without leave are thinning and showing wrinkles,the other trunk with leaves appears healthy and hydrated but leaves are not sufficient in this , Plant is over 6 yes, I gave, fungicide npk in hope of getting back foliage and heath ,my Q.
1)How leaves and hydrated heath of defoliated trunk can be obtained
2) Will the Plant die ,
I am Delhi based, plant is kept in outdoor with sunlight falling partly on it after 2pm.

immediately keep your plant under full shade. don't over water, don't apply any inorganic fertilizer now. cover your plant with a transperant poly bag.

গাছ বড় করতে হবে, বড় হলে আবার কেটে ছোট করতে হবে। এইভাবে এগোলে ট্রাংক মোটা হবে।

what is NPK water?
NPK is combination of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. In a certain ratio like 10:10:10, in india 20:20:20 is commonly used. A solution of 5Ltr of water with 5grm of NPK is mentioned here as NPK water.
