At first “Oh Love Oh Love” when the choir started singing I got goosebumps all over then I felt my scalp move like the hairs were on end. Then as the music crescendoed I started to tear up and cry. It was magnificent and I could feel the Holy Spirit. How grand of a worship hall to be in. The cute little cottages, looks like tents and their adorable flower boxes and all of those American Flags 😍Thank you for sharing this and your filming and editing is soooo good. Beautiful. I love the carillon it reminds me of my home town we lived a block away from the church and I knew 2 of the organ players later when we got a dog she would sing to it lol
The dear little houses remind me of the unique old cottages on Toronto Island ( just off shore of Toronto, Ontario) It is a tiny community of turn of the century cottages. A ferry connects the residents .The narrow lanes are just as they were, many years ago. It is very sought after, people pay a lot to experience this lifestyle.
This is shocking! I go every year; and, for some reason, I never noticed that the back of the Great Auditorium still has the old seating. I thought it had all been updated. I'll go check it out next week.

I have to confess that, growing up in Howell, NJ, we used to thoughtlessly call this place 'Ocean Grave' because of the majority of elderly people that lived there. Today, the possibility of living there presents as nothing more than an unattainable fantasy. 🙁
Yes and no. The front tent sections are only up during summer season but the wooden structures that they connect to remain in place. As far as I know....no one lives in them during the winter season. This town started as a Methodist Camp Ground in the Victorian days.
