- Ranikot Fort is Mystery it is Fort Built on Mountains of Khirthar Ranges of Sindh. It Is largest Fort in the World having circumference of about 32 kilometer. Its construction resembles with Great wall of China thats why it is called "The Great Wall of Sindh". It is most Fascinating place in sindh.

Locals living there told us ! There is no authenticity Whether is was worship place of Buddha or not.
Visited in 2021 from Karachi. Beautiful and serene place full of history and mystery. Government of Sindh should be ashamed of leaving this place ruined and like a graveyard. There is no welcome center at the entrance , no brochures, no guidelines. The road is broken and you are stuck right after entrance because there is no Brdige at the canal. You will have no clue what to do and where to go. What a waste of heritage because of corruption!

THE RANIKOT FORT WAS AN ANCIENT FORT FROM THE TIMES OF MAHABHARATA ( 6000 YEAR OLD ).. IT WAS RENOVATED BY RAJA DAHIR. WITH A CIRCUMFERENCE OF 32 KM AND PRISTINE WATER WITHIN THE WALLS IT IS THE LARGEST FORT ON THE PLANET..
There is a perennial water spring 'Parryen jo Tarru' which was highly valued for its medicinal property. Pani khot gradually became Rani khot --originally meant “the fort for protecting a water stream” .
Hardly any importance is given to The Great Wall of Sindh on the Kirthar range , built by Raja Dahir , know today as Ranikot fort.
There are 3 forts within this wall Meeri Kot, Shergarh Kot and Mohan Kot. Islamic zealots have tried to claim this fort, but as you can see the arches are Hindu style with lotus and Hindu motifs.

Surraya, Road is built you can easily reach, but if you want to visit whole Fort you have to do trekking since it hilly area. So you have to stay at Mirikot fort for Parking and then go for Trekking.
