I discovered Torrid while visit Las Vegas in 2004. Back when they only had like 2 or 3 stores. I still absolutely love Torrid. It’s 95% of my closet and I always shop during sales, torrid cash and clearance. They have the best plus size jeans on the market in my opinion!
I understand when it comes to the heat, it’s still hot where I live. I took a spin around the mall the other day and walked into Torrid thinking I haven’t been in this store in forever. I found a flare cut jean on the clearance rack and when they got rung up they were $5…”winning” 👏🏼. I’m going to wear them today since the denim isn’t super thick it will work all year round where I live. I loved 🥰 the tiered dress, the black short sleeved sweatshirt, the plain blouse & the graphic tee on you I thought they were all very flattering and feminine. I saw a graphic tee I liked as well but kinda thought they were pricey, but they did look like they were made well. ❤
I get that stores can’t carry all the size but I wish they would do a try before you buy. Like can’t I order things to be shipped to store and then try them on in store before I shell out the $$?
They do have that with Klarna. If you order like over $50 you can try it on and then take it back to the store if you don’t like it they don’t charge you for 30 days.
I’ve ordered to the store before and tried everything on before I stepped out. Everything fit. But… Torrid has the worst shipping! Shipping at home or at the store takes 2+weeks!
Torrid used to be owned by Hot Topic. They were the plus version of that style of clothes. They changed hands and their styles evolved. But that's where the skulls etc come in.
Black top with stars love it but I LOVE stars. The brown and white plaid I like to see it open with a tighter black or cream dress under it, but that's how I would wear it.
That plaid duster would make an awesome dress with a brown leather belt and boots!! Gorgeous! Buy it and try it, and let us see, please!! And that last plaid top was adorable. Just be careful it doesn't shrink. It doesn't look too small at all, but if it shrinks it might be a problem. They had some very cute stuff; not at all what I was expecting!!

As a east TX girl, I feel you on the whole “staying cool, but looking Fall” dilemma. 🤣🥵The ruffle sleeve, black sweater is adorable and fits you amazingly. And I actually loved the floral dress for many reasons. I would love to see the flannel duster belted like a dress with booties because I think that would be ⬇️💀 gorgeous this Fall! Now…the mid rise jeans…hear me out. I hear you say a lot that you love the higher waisted jeans, but most of the lower rose ones I’ve seen you in have been very flattering for your figure imo. You’ve gotta do what you like, but I always think they look good. My absolute favorite thing on you was that plaid babydoll. It fit you perfectly sized down like that. The color scheme was so pretty and it’s lightweight enough that it would be Fall appropriate, but not smother you in that southern heat. 💙
Torrid is my favorite store especially with the rewards system. I’m a VI P. I’m not overly fond of all the skull stuff. I order online clearance 75-95% off and get great deals.

Oh! I have that dress, might be the darker one, but I could have easily sized down. I am looking so forward to wearing it with my mustard or burgundy snagtights! The shacket dress would be amazing! And, honestly I would wear all 3 of the tops and sweatshirts at the end.

Just dound your channel. Torrid was a fave of mine when I was in Virginia. I am in florida now and no in store down here and completely forgot about them. By far the jeans and shorts i got from them fit very well. I must go online and see whats doing….
If the blue plaid top is comfortable to move your arms in then it is a good size. Love when things let you look busty but still show you have curves. Very flattering.
Growing up our torrid store was right next to a hot topic and the torrid always showcased their more edgy styles and prints at the front. I always liked that bc not every person in plus sizes is an adult who would be happy with layne Bryant styles. It appealed to a younger crowd and I applaud that
I like some torrid stuff ( at least older stuff Ive picked up at thrift stores) and the online stuff is cute but most of what I see in the stores is too goth/ edgy for me but its great that it IS available
I have the last pink and blue plaid blouse. 😀 I love it so much that I also got the solid red version and the online only floral version. It does run a little bigger than this style by Torrid usually runs, even after washing/drying shrinkage.

I loved the flannel shirt/dress. It will be perfect for where I live with black leggings or jeans with knee high boots. Early this morning when I walked my dog it was 40 degrees, now at 12:15 it has warmed up to 61.

Although there has been a decline in quality, in my opinion, and prices are too high, Torrid does plus size fit better than anyone. At least for my build. Yes, they offer many styles I don’t like, but there is a little something for everyone. Everything looked nice on you, but I especially liked the two plaid pieces and the jeans.

It makes me feel so much better that a range of sizes fit you. I get so discouraged at Torrid because sometimes I can wear a 2 and sometimes I need a 4. So, basically maybe there sizing is just funky.

I think you seem to prefer more solids on top-not prints. You can always tame those prints with solid cardies or even a deep rusty tshirt over the dress and then tied up a bit. Great vid

I really liked the short sleeve star sweater! For Texas, that's perfect too. I love the duster length shacket and the plaid baby doll top. It's all a little rich for my blood right now. I am finding that Torrid does have some really cute things but their quality seems to have gone down and prices up.
Torrid is so expensive in Canada, I can’t justify the expense versus the clothes.. Maurice’s on the other hand is a great American clothing store that my small City just got.. The store has plus sizing as well as regular sizing… Please do a review of Maurice’s❣️

I just ordered that plaid baby doll. It's beautiful. I had to size down on it as well. I did, however, get my jeans at Lane Bryant, as I had a coupon & gift card. Their "Curvy" jeans fit so well. 😉
