    Yes ! Yes ! Not only mother and daughter working together to create a terrific quilt but step by step directions on a long arm machine AND your daughter's mother in law's reaction when it was presented to her. Thank you !

    This is exactly what I have wanted to see for YEARS!!! Thank you for having the forethought to show us a real life full quilting episode and not some studio mock up!!! Love your relationship with your daughter - cherish it always! Thank you so very much, Kristina (and Morgan of course)!.

    Unconventionally sized quilts may seem strange, but it is good to have a quilt for every purpose ☺️ I made my Aunt a quilt that is wider than it is long so she and my Uncle could cuddle together under it on the couch.

    This is a fabulous video. It's very informative about the quilting process using edge to edge but also so good to see Morgan enjoying it so much as she's a quick learner. The pride she has in it is a joy too

    congratulations Morgan. Your first quilt turned out beautifully! It was very nice to have a glimpse into the reveal. That is the best part of making a quilt! I really enjoyed this segment. It was really nice to see you with your daughter Christina and I can tell that you are a good educator based on how well you directed your daughter. I would love to attend one of your retreats. It is on my bucket list ;-)

      Donna, we would love to have you come visit us in Utah! Where do you live? I'll be teaching at the AQS show in Des Moines in September also! Sometimes they let me out of the studio to go visit other places!! (:

      @@kristinawhitneyhqstudioedu7013 You are always welcome at my place but I'm a little ways away! I live 45 minutes away from the United States border in Ontario Canada on the shores of Lake Superior. I have lots of room though if ever you want to do a road trip ;-) I am a brand new quilter and brand new owner of a Handi Quilter Avanti so I am learning so much from you and the other educators at HQ. I love your Utube videos ;-)

    I wasn't able to join Live but I just finished watching this morning and it was a great video for someone new to longarm like myself. All the HQ videos are great but this one was especially helpful because with Kristina explaining to her daughter all the steps from loading the quilt to how to set up and run ProStitcher it slowed it down so enough that I was able to keep up and follow along. I also enjoyed seeing the end of the story when she presented the quilt to her mother-in-law. I hope you guys do more videos like this one for the newbie's like myself:)

      More hands on with a newbie ! Just like this one . I loved it with the close up of the screen and you telling Morgan which tool to tap ! And we could see her tap it ! It was just a great video! Thank you again .

    This was so cool! I learned stuff I didn’t fully realize; like even when using prostitcher, there is work to be done with each advance of the quilt.
    I loved seeing Morgan’s face as the realization and appreciation for how much work is involved, and the excitement, pride, and satisfaction at seeing herself reaching the goal of making this wonderful quilt! She stuck with it all the way to the end! She has been bitten by the joy of designing a quilt exactly the way she wants it, and I suspect there may be more in her future!
    Great job in guiding her, Christine, without being a hovering hen. You gave her just enough guidance, but also the responsibility of bringing her creation to life. This was so fun to watch! I’d love to see more episodes of you two working together! 🌷

    I join the others in my praise of this video. I too enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and step by step instructions and tips and cautions. I would like to suggest a video on a machine with a narrower throat, space, perhaps a Simply 16 or Moxie.please, and using a hand guided edge to edge pantograph. We'd all LOVE to have Prostitcher, but that wish may be down the road...Thank you again for a TERRIFIC video.

    How long does it to stitch out one roll?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are a lot of variables involved. The pattern itself, it's density, the speed your machine is set at, etc.
